I would give this 5 star even it is! No kidding however, they don’t do bulk. My family went there after our church by Sept 1 and I asked for bulk of carrots.
One of sweet lady told us to try come in by Sept 12. I got funny feeling and decide to call instead of coming down from Avondale City to waste gas, turned out I made right choice by calling them.
I called and asked for bulk of carrots. They told me they don’t have but can ask their vendors for it. In my thrills, I explain it to them that I can’t wait as my wife and I are IN NEED of carrots like right now. So I asked for their vendor phone number or address so I can come to get myself instead.
Turn out, the person I spoke with told me “no you can’t have their phone number because you are not in business. I am not gonna give you my vendor phone number. You gotta to drop your order in and we will arranged it”
I again explained them how much I really need it like RIGHT NOW. They continue answer me no
So it’s unfortunate I need to leave this beautiful inspire farm store downgraded to one star from five stars. So people, if you in need of bulk, always go for local farm to supporting them instead of store itself. Store are like third party for local farm. Yes I get it they are helpful in many ways but not really true helpful though.
They are now cutting my pleasure shopping there but from now on I will only come to get popcorn and chip there, nothing more.
Now business to business, Inspire Farm, you gotta to learn how to work with your customers, period. Have...
Read moreThe employees are very helpful and friendly! We met their personal serama rooster which was sweet as could be and made me think I need one! 😆 I was initially attracted to the store because I have 17 chickens and two turkeys at home. The cute mural out by the parking lot is what got me in the store. We took a lot of pictures in front of it. 😊 The owner has a lot of canvases inside the store that are similar to the mural outside that are for sale. They have a little bit of everything. I kind of was hoping they sold chickens but I didn't see any for sale. They have some chicken feeders, a couple of egg collecting aprons (I would have loved to see more), meal worms to feed your chickens, they have some organic food, some decor and more.
8/21/22 update! I did see baby chicks in the store but nothing that said they were for sale right by them or what breeds they were so I thought they were just to there for me to adore them. 😆 Which I did! ❤️ My husband informed me that if I had looked at the massive TV size iPad that they had in the store that you can look at what breeds they have and how much they are. 🤦♀️ So like the owner replied they do sell chicks and you can pre-order them on their website....
Read moreThe commitment of this place to exclusively fill online chick orders first without regard for walk-ins is obscene. Why would you order extra, if you only intend to sell to online orders, turning away willing customers who desperately want the extra birds you have.
Also, the owner needs to work on her people skills. When someone is devastated that they can’t have the chicks they want, don’t make it out that it’s their fault.
I came when I did because I raise chickens and know what it takes to raise a successful flock, which hinges heavily on time of year. By the time I felt comfortable getting new chicks, everything for the appropriate range was spoken for and I was promised they had extra for walk-in customers.
To then suggest I order over a month down the line after that experience was an insult to my...
