Cirino’s Pizza on 144 S Mesa Dr Suite B, Mesa, AZ is hands down one of the best pizza spots I’ve visited in Arizona! From the moment you walk in, the welcoming aroma of wood-fired pizza and the friendly staff make you feel right at home.
I ordered The Boss Meat Pizza, and it was phenomenal—loaded with pork carnitas, steak carne asada, pepperoni, chorizo, and perfectly melted mozzarella. The crust had that perfect char from the oven, crispy on the outside and soft inside. Every bite was full of bold, savory flavor.
We also tried the BBQ Chicken Pizza, which had a smoky sweet balance with roasted corn and red onions that gave it a unique and delicious twist. The Honey Bee Pizza was a surprise favorite too—the combination of hot honey, jalapeños, and fresh mozzarella created the perfect sweet-heat combo.
As a starter, we shared the Caprese Salad, and it was one of the freshest I’ve had—slices of creamy mozzarella paired with heirloom cherry tomatoes, crisp greens, and drizzled with fig balsamic reduction. Absolutely refreshing and beautifully presented.
We paired the pizzas with a glass of red and white wine—clearly, they know how to create a full dining experience.
To wrap it up, we had the Tiramisu for dessert—light, creamy, and the perfect touch of espresso flavor. A great end to an incredible meal.
Service was prompt and attentive, and the vibe is cozy yet modern. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or sitting down with friends or family, Cirino’s delivers both quality and flavor across the board.
Highly recommend this hidden gem—Mesa is lucky...
Read moreI feel like every time I got for Neapolitan style pizza the crust doesn’t turn out as good as the marketing photos. Not the case here. I had the cheese pizza to get an idea of cheese, sauce and crust quality. Everything was fab. I will say the tomato sauce was good but not enough of it to taste through the cheese. The prominent flavor is the cheese and that is okay because the mix is so good. The salty, slightly crunchy with fresh creamy mozz was a delightful combo. Crust is sourdough based which is great. I would personally prefer a bit more of the fermentation sour flavor BUT it’s in my top 3 for best pizza in the valley. The Pinot noir was a lovely pairing....
Read moreWe were going for Father's Day. The reviews said sourdough wood fired pizza. Sold! Drove from Tempe to meet the kids. Tried to order pizza and were told no special orders. (We don't eat cheese or meat) Thought a veggie with no cheese would be good. We were told no, can't do it, it will burn??? Now we've had pizza many places with no cheese, never a problem!! Hubby ended up with Avocado toast, subpar. I was grouchy so picked at the kid's fries, which were halfway cold and floppy and halfway undercooked. The kids omelette and salad were ok. They kinda acted like were were monsters ordering no cheese! We will...
