Heart of the Desert Pistachios & Wines - Old Mesilla — Attraction in Mesilla

I come here every time I'm in Mesilla. They give you wine tastings and then you buy one because why not? They always have a wide variety of gifts, yes some touristy but what the heck else am I buying people when I'm away? They are getting all the cute things that say Mesilla. I have never enjoyed peanut brittle but my s/o made me try it and it was soooo amazing! I always get the green chile pistachios because they are my absolute favorite and you should too. If you don't know if you will like something, ask for a sample, they happily let you try their selection of fun and unique foods! Everyone I've encountered that works there has been so friendly and welcoming and I love that the most! I bought myself a cute t-shirt this week when I was in and usually I steer clear of those items, but the color and quality were excellent and I couldn't pass it up. We have been here several times in the past and absolutely love the wines, pistachios and brittle. Today changed that. We stood at the wine tasting area for a few minutes and we're not acknowledged. I asked if they were doing wine tastings today. We were there 3:30-4ish. Your employee said "yes! what do you want to taste" she made us feel like we were an inconvenience instead of welcomed patrons. We each tasted 2 wines and drank a glass (only because we wanted to have wine). On average we would buy two bottles of wine riddle and pistachios today we only got the one glass of wine and small bag of brittle. The chance of returning is not likely to happen! We love wine. Both of your employees were equally unpleasant. Is this your customer service expectation...

So I read the reviews and the most disappointing was the one that said we had great service every single time but once just once we didn’t. Ok how awful are you to give a one star review over one experience while stating every other time rocked?? I’ve been to the store more than once and ordered online so I’ll just say this the pistachios are amazing! They also had fabulous olive oils to sale which tasted awesome. I won’t comment one the wine because though I bought it for gifts I didn’t indulge I’m a sweet wine girl all the way.
