So I bought a gorgeous dress from this shop. Beautiful wedding dress. I did come across a few issues with the pricing. The lady gave me an estimate of the cost of fitting it…..and when I got my dress finished the estimate vs the price was over 150$ more for the dress. (I did call ahead to make sure I brought a good amount of money) but they should estimate it closer to the price they actually give. The woman here were absolutely helpful and nice. Although the dress was beautiful, the lady had sown pads into the bra which did not fit my chest whatsoever. They DID NOT inform me about the extra charge of the padding till after it was SOWN in, and when I was expected to pick up my dress we had to fix the padding which cause another week of traveling, and a week before my wedding the padding was still way to big for my chest and it was tight around my shoulders which she was suppose to fix the week before, resulting in me having to take my dress because of the timing and spending to much money on traveling an hour back n forth just for fixing on a dress I had said didn’t fit right in the first place. I made it work though. All I’m saying is if you decide to buy a dress from here expect an extra 100-150$ from the estimated price they give you. And make sure you live close because I would’ve gone back more to fix my dress if I didn’t live so far away. Managers of this shop should give us young women a closer estimate to dresses we pay for with our hard earned money especially in Biden times. We need to know how much money to pay and not be surprised when the price is 150$ more for just fitting it...

Livingston altered my wedding dress and helped plan my wedding/did day-of coordination (through Blue Door). Roxanne did a great job altering my wedding dress; she was more than willing to do various alterations I wanted such as making the straps of my dress wider so that they were more comfortable, and she scheduled me for multiple fittings very close to my wedding to ensure the perfect fit on the day of! A week before the wedding, I bought a dress to change into at the reception and even though it was last-minute she readily did some minor alterations on it as well. The wedding planning/day-of coordination they offer is SO worth it, I can't say that enough! Roxanne and her team are AMAZING. I'm a detail-oriented type-A person so it's very rare for me to be hands-off with things that are important to me, but I trusted Roxanne and her team completely. They helped SO much with all the planning, from helping me find vendors to the "little" details like recommending the best time of day to have the outdoor ceremony based on the time of year. Their planning assistance saved me so much of time, effort and stress. I knew that they would have a solution/answer for anything that came up, and that on the wedding day I could just sit back and enjoy the day and that they would make it happen how I wanted it to (and they did!). Livingston Bridal and Events was absolutely terrific for my wedding. My sister chose her bridesmaid dress there and the collection of BM dresses were gorgeous. (I also went a couple of weeks later to get a Maid of Honor dress for my friend's wedding and was pleased to see that the shop was able to accommodate both my and my sisters sizes easily). Livingston was able to work with my sisters' schedule (and the many delayed flights to get her into NM) for her dress alterations right before the wedding. The alterations done for my wedding dress were with the utmost attention for detail and I appreciate being able to take a video of the bustle for the actual day.

Roxanne (aka Mrs. New Mexico 2024!) has great perspective and was able to guide me in what we needed for the wedding. The rental option for whatever you need for the wedding was really helpful and more affordable and beautiful than us trying to DIY the event.

Overall I would recommend Livingston to anyone who is looking for that special something for their wedding. From dresses to a helpful listening ear everyone will help you to make your dreams come true like...
