My son ordered the red chili chicken, and the chicken tasted dry. Even though he loves red chili, he just did not like what was brought to him, and he is not a picky eater. He normally just eats whatever is put in front of him. But he could not eat this meal. And he tried, he took 3 bites. So he did try. My husband's meat was very dry. Our waitress acted like we were a bother to her. She was in a hurry to get our drink order. And I was in the middle of a conversation trying to tell her what we were there for just trying to make conversation, and she did not want to hear It. She took our drink order and walked away while I was still talking. And when she came back, I told her that my son did not like his plate of food. She did not offer to replace the meal. When she brought us our ticket, I asked her. Are you going to take off his meal? And she said that they don't do that and I said well, Can you please ask someone else? So, she said fine. Let me go ask the manager, and within seconds, she came back and said that he would not do it. If you want to speak to him yourself, you can. And I said I can't believe you're not gonna take off a meal that just was not good. The chicken was dry, and my son did not like it. Therefore, he did not eat it. So we should not have to pay for it. As you can see with all of my other reviews, we have never asked not to pay for a meal. This is the first time. I do not understand that at all. So first we had a rude waitress and second the food was just not good. If you want me to make up excuses, it could have been because they were busy and like the guy that was waiting at the front said they're not normally that busy on Tuesdays. Maybe they just weren't ready for so many people, but you think being busy, the food would have been fresh, but that just wasn't the case. The lady should have tried to be more nice maybe, and I think our meal should have been taken off. It is just crazy to me that the meal was not eaten, and we were still charged for it. I didn't even tell her about my husband's meal that he did not touch because I did not want to ask for two meals to be taken off of our tickets because I was trying to be nice. Unlike our waitress and the manager. Bad...
Read moreWe went there after taking our weekend guest to old mesilla. We asked when we got there if we could be seated as it was hot and we were tired were going to order cold drinks and appetizers as we waited for our guest to pay for their items and walk over to the restaurant. We were aware they only seat u if everyone was present, asked if they could seat us in tabke so we could get something to drink, and order some food, they said they would seat us in a r top adjacent to another top so we could add when the other 3 adults arrived understanding if the table was needed they would use it. Well no sooner did we sit down and order that brought 3 people to the adjacent table! The issue I gave is we counted 4 tables for 4 in the room. We were in that were empty, they could have seated them in! The hosted game us a happy glare like ha ha ha, so we took the food to go and went to LA Posta! Where we were welcomed seated even though yhe other half of our party were driving g over from Abdales! I will never recommend Andales nor will we go there to eat ever again! I will repist this everywhere I can and never eat there and discourage our family and friend from going there. They could have accommodated us. It was over 100 degrees out we are a little older and we're going to spend a lot on our meal. In addition we would have tip...
Read moreThis time around, visiting Andele's for lunch, I ordered the green chile enchilada plate. I very much enjoyed it on my combination during my last visit to Andele's. So much so, I placed an order to take a plate home with me. However, my all-around experience this time was quite the opposite from my last visit. My green chile enchiladas weren't as tasteful. I added all types of pico de gallo, green chile salsa, and cooked onions just to obtain some flavoring to them. etc. Our waitress came only 3xs during our 45 minutes having lunch. Once to bring our plates. Again, she came to pick up my friends used plate. The last time she approached our table was to bring the bill. Although she must have walked past us at least 15xs during lunch, she did not once come back to ask if we needed anything or if everything was good. I very much disliked the bowl of tortilla chips. They were mostly crumbled and not fresh. The salsa bar was the best of all my experience. A variety of chile salsas, cooked onions, and cooked jalapeños. A lot of people appear to enjoy Andele's, not a favorite of mine, and certainly after this experience, we will not be returning. La Posta was shut down for a deep cleaning, or that would have been our first choice...
