Assembly Craft Studio — Attraction in Mesilla

I have taken two classes here so far and they have been so much fun. I took the Mounted Plant Class pre-pandemic and the the Kokedama String Garden Workshop during the pandemic. These classes involved making wall and hanging plants which I have been enjoying in my home. The instructors are great, you meet some cool people in the class and the environment is super fun. I love crafting so I appreciate someone else providing all the supplies, instruction and clean up. I have learned a new craft in each class. If you love crafting their class package is a great deal. New to the neighborhood and just took my first class at Assembly PDX- making a cigar box lamp. I have some childhood baggage involving electricity (don’t ask) so I was a little nervous about this class- but I shouldn’t have been.

The instructor was super nice and clear and moved at a pace that made sure everyone did things correctly but not so slow that we got got bored. The class size was great and everyone was nice and welcoming. There were snacks and drinks and aprons available.

Also, I have a cool lamp now which is awesome. Definitely recommend Assembly for trying out...

I always have an itch to learn about new crafts/hobbies and Assembly PDX has been the perfect place for me to try new things! I attended a few classes in person pre-COVID and will be taking my third online class soon. All of them have been fun and interesting and have satisfied my artsy side!
