Let me start this review by saying I’m from Wi and I have never worn a cowboy boot in my life. I moved to TX about 2 years ago and this year I told myself I will get into the TX spirit and get a Cowboy hat and some nice boots.
So I called my buddy who was born and raised In TX.
I asked him to take me somewhere to get what I needed and we ended up at the Boot Barn in Mesquite Tx. Boy was I in for a treat I walk in and the first thing I see is BOots lol and to the right Hats customers laughing and smiling as if they were in a candy store. I immediately go over to the hats and my buddy gives me the run down on the type of hat and when to wear them summer spring winter etc after we picked the hat I had to go get my boots. We go over to the isle where my size is and the selection is massive I don’t know where to start I’m picking up traditional and square then Exotic I’m trying them all on I’m telling you it was amazing I think I find the boot I wanted I come over to the guy and I’m greeted with a smile hi how can I help you today I said I think I want these boots but before I buy them I need you to Educate me on upkeep and he said now problem I’m Stephen let me get you the other boot so you can try it on. I get the other boot I put them on and it felt like I was walking on clouds I said I want them he said you want them I said I want them he said how did they feel I said they feel amazing he said that’s what I wanted to hear. That made my day because he was not just going to sell me a boot to sell me a boot he actually cared enough to make sure I was comfortable if that does not say a lot about the guy I don’t know what does. So he says sit down because this is your first boot I’m going to give you the beginner 101 guide to take care of them as he broke down not only the difference in my boots but all the boots so if I came back to get more which I for sure will be I knew what to look for and what the best cuts were he even referred me to a website I’m telling you guys if you go you need to ask for Stephen because he will make sure you leave happy and educated.
I am the happiest I have ever been with my hats nd boots I have been showing them off on fb and to friends and family since I got them.
All in all this was an amazing shopping experience and the customer service that was give by Stephen was beyond the 5 stars that I’m giving I would recommend his expertise on buts but his customer service to anyone. Thanks again I for sure...
Read moreWorst experience ever! Dropped off my hat to get cleaned a week ago and I went in today to pick it up and when I asked for my hat they told me they didn’t have it. The manager Nancy went as far as calling me a liar and saying that i never brought in my hat to get cleaned. The same Nancy lady was the one helped me a week ago and took my name down and put it in the hat so that it could get serviced. Now a week later when I pick it up she has an attitude telling me that they don’t have it and that I lied about bringing it in. They went as far as checking the cameras from the day that I was in the store a week ago to make sure I came in with a hat. They got an older male “Manager” involved and he was rude as well insinuating that I was a liar also. Nancy allegedly remembers selling me another hat that exact day and admitting she helped us out that day and then she back tracked and said she wasn’t even working the shift when she helped us. She was very rude along with all the other so called “managers”. Ive been coming here for years and have no reason to lie about bringing in an item. To top it all off after they repeatedly called me a liar and checking the store cameras they “magically” found my hat that they “NEVER” had. They should really check who they hire as so called “MANAGERS”. They suck and and i hope they learn how to do their job better and admit that they misplace items rather than blaming the client for their stupid mistake. After the fact that they found the hat Nancy didn’t take accountability instead she sent one of her coworkers to handle her business and never apologized. Read moreI would like to start off saying if you ever go here please ask for RAYMOND (the boot manager) for any assistance you need. He will point you in the right direction and send the right staff if he’s not an expert to assist you. I always wanted cowgirl boots. My cousin is obsessed with cowboy boots and brought me here and we arrived around 4:30pm and left around 9pm. We had a ball! My cousin whose name is Raymond was looking for boots for a event and Raymond (the manager) walked up and supported us the entire time. Raymond was so humble, knowledgeable, and on top of everything. We never had to look around for assistance. Raymond and staff was always near to help. My cousin then needed a outfit to match his new boots. Raymond sent my cousin to Yuli and Brandon to assist him with an outfit and they were so kind and stylish I was shocked. The selection of clothes they picked out I would have never thought matched but was perfect. They sat by the changing room waiting for my cousin to come out just to make sure it was perfect. Just awesome service! I was so pleased I asked Raymond to not only find me cowboy boots for my cowboys football attire but also find boots for my boyfriend who was with us. We both loved our boots and bought them. I had to order my boots but received them within 2 days. I also bought my boyfriend a beautiful necklace. I never intended to spend the amount a spent but it was all worth it. I have NEVER received so much support and care at any establishment the way Raymond took care of us.
