I would give this store a minus if it was an option. I've been visiting this location for years & have never had any issues BUT.... the last 3 visit's have been ridiculous. There is never anyone on the floor to assist with questions, the customer service or lack thereof is a joke and this is the absolute dirtiest store I've ever been into. The floors are filthy & there was trash all over the top of the displays. This past Saturday was the last straw, after searching in vain for several minutes up and down the intimates dept. for someone to assist with a question I finally decided to just buy the items & return if they didn't meet my needs. I then had to go on the hunt to several registers before finding somewhere to make my purchase. I stood in line behind 4 other customers and had about 6 other people behind me waiting when a lady asked the cashier to direct her to another employee which the cashier actually said "oh here, let me take you over there" and walked away from everyone waiting in line stating "she'd be back...???" Leaving all of us standing there waiting for her to return. After a while another cashier showed up & was so confused not understanding where the cashier went she ended up checking me out without removing the security tag. So I had to return the following day & again had to hunt for an open register to remove the tag. 4 registers later I finally found 1 open. From now on I will drive across town to North Park to...
Read moreMy experience at Macy's was the worst. I'm not one to ever complain about service but, we had a couple of associates that absolutely showed no interest in helping. I was there to purchase a Michael Kors watch for someone's birthday. My daughter and I waited at least 10-15 minutes without no one returning. The associates went for help and come back without no one. If no one is there to cover the department there should be a sign in place to indicate that the department is closed. The customer service at Macy's was a zero in my opinion. This is from a customer with a first time complaint. Macy's I know you can and will do better in the future. Considering maybe everyone was out sick this evening. It does happen but, with all of that being said. Let's hire more people to help out PLEASE. No one should have to receive this type of treatment. Because you guys are a well known department store. Let's step it up with the customer service. If it's not too much to ask. I hope this message reaches the store manager, regional manager, or district manager. The C.E.O cares about knowing their store needs more workers. Sign, Thank you for reading and listening to...

Macy's is not leaving Town East Mall in Mesquite, TX; in fact, the city approved an economic development agreement with Brookfield Properties to keep the anchor store open.
