Iām a very loyal customer to The Target Corporation. However this particular store sadly and unfortunately because itās my closest location to my new home, has far beyond the worst guest services Iāve ever received. There is a particular employee by the name of Tina who seems very unhappy with her personal life and her job. Sheās not tidy with her Target attire, hair is dry brittle and all over the place. I had to ask her for her own name since she doesnāt wear a name tag. Always chit chatting with other employees while behind the counter. Bosses everyone around her to make herself feel superior. She doesnāt smile and gives everyone faces as if sheās speaking through her mind. The amount of energy that she puts into her job is as if she owned the entire store and the attitude she gives customers is not bearable from my end. Whenever I come to return an item she doesnāt smile, has an attitude and starts questioning everything about the item being returned. Iāv brought with me my receipt that I have for the item which Iāve purchased and itās within the 90 day grace period. However, she loves to interrogate customers. I was not the only one who has been interrogated as returning an item. There was a lady in front of me, which was being interrogated so much about the item she was returning, and Tina made that lady take out all her credit cards, waste her time and hold the line behind her to see which card she had made the purchase from. Tina, listen ⦠life is simple. Donāt complicate your job. STEP 1, look for the item UPC or DPCI number on the Target app. STEP 2 refund the the customers money, or store credit gift card by asking her for her ID. STEP 3 put a smile on your face as you see a happy customer walk away so they donāt end up like me here writing reviews. So, Why did Tina put so much energy in a returned item that is not being paid with her own pocket money? Maybe Tina wants a raise? Or maybe she wants to go home after work feeling like she worked very hard⦠however The lady left angry upset and couldnāt return a thing. This specific employee is nosy and has no ethics. She gets paid to do her job which is returning items with a receipt or without a receipt not to be questioning people what happen with the item what you did with it is there anything missing blah blah blah blah so on. The most embarrassing thing is her trying to argue with the customer about the 90 day policy and 100% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back. Right off the bat when you look at her you can tell she wants to argue with the next customer about why they are returning the item. This particular area of the store is supposed to be service for the guest; the guest which is the consumer, the consumer doesnāt go to the store to feel attacked by Target guest services employees. Maybe Tina needs more proper training or start looking for another job since weāre in the center of an inflation and headed to a recession. I never thought I seen myself writing this kind of review from my favorite store but this is the third time this lady attacks me as Iām trying to return an item. Also, at this guest services they never pick up phones go call and it can ring endlessly. The actual phone is not workable as I tried to make a phone call from it to find my own cellphone. Sincerely, a Very unsatisfied customer from this particular...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI know the holidays are rough for retail workers but the employees here act like they're not getting paid to work there. Maybe they're understaffed? First off it's chaos. There are no buggies in the front and the lines are super long; not enough registers open. The women's clothing area is a mess nothing is stocked. When I say nothing is stocked I mean ALL of the shelves (regardless of department) are empty. I went in for a return. The lady was rude, there was no greeting she motioned me with her finger to go up to the counter and said "come on." She asked for my receipt scanned it and handed me the proof of return. I asked if they did exchanges and she said no. Which I get it's not her policy, but she didn't inform me about the processing times on the return, she didn't even tell me the return process was over she handed me the receipt and began to ignore me by carrying on whatever conversation it seemed I had interrupted. They either need to hire more people or pay them more cause these employees are not having it. I try to be understanding and I'm never rude to anyone, I even asked her how her day was going. But she obviously was fed up with whatever they had going on today. Ive been coming to this target for a long time and it seems that it keeps getting worse and worse as the years go on. Will definitely be the last time I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat the hell is going on at this Target in Mesquite? From the moment I walked in, it was one problem after another. The staff are flat-out rude ā not just unhelpful, but acting like customers are a burden. I asked for help finding an item and was met with eye rolls and attitude. When I tried to escalate to a manager, the manager was even worse ā dismissive, condescending, and completely uninterested in fixing anything.
The store itself is filthy and disorganized. Shelves are a disaster, half the items I needed were out of stock, and checkout lines dragged on forever. It honestly feels like nobody here is doing their job, and leadership clearly doesnāt care. The employees donāt want to be there, and the so-called manager set the worst example of all.
This entire location is an embarrassment to the Target brand. Iāve already called Target corporate to report this store, and I will be following up if nothing changes. The staff and manager need to be fired and replaced with people who actually know how to do their jobs and treat customers with respect.
Iāve been shopping at Target for years, and this was the worst experience Iāve ever had at any location. Until major changes are made at this Mesquite store, I will not be returning ā and Iāll make sure friends, family, and anyone who asks knows to avoid this...
