Moda Fina Boutique — Attraction in Miami

I use to like this store but I recently went on a Saturday to buy a gender reveal dress I bought a pink dress and a bra. Once I get home the bra wasn’t working with the dress since I had no time left I went with something that I owned already and didn’t use the dress I bought. When I come Monday to exchange because you could only exchange within three days which I understand, a young lady tells me they don’t do exchanges I had to show her how the receipt says exchanges allowed within three days. After that she leaves with the dress to the back comes back to the front and says she didn’t sell me a messed up dress and how it also smelled like perfume. Even though the dress didn’t get worn but it was a rude comment coming from her part. At the end I show a purse I wanted to exchange she said it’s $36 and how I can’t get anything else even though the dress was worth $48. I told her to call the owner as that’s unfair. She said the owner doesn’t like talking to customers. After I said I would contact local authorities she went to the back to call the owner and then came back to say it was fine. If was my first time going to this boutique. At first on the outside it looked cheap and not really my style. However, there are selections that are classy and really good quality. I was impressed honestly. I ended up leaving with a beautiful dress for my company party and I had a lot of selections no complain on that side. The only thing I did not like is that I was being watched by the employee who stared at me the whole time while shopping it was overbearing honestly. She didn't even let me browse much. I don't know if the owner wants their employees to stare at customers because they are scared that people will steal. I don't know, but I felt like it was not allowed to browse the store. Felt as if they wanted me to get put of there asap. The employee literally followed me to the dressing room and stood infront of my dresses while she gave 1 dress per dress to try on. I felt like I was being watched even in the dresser that is ridiculous! My suggestion is try to be less overbearing on your customers like that you will have more sales because us women go in for one thing and end up buying...

I've been coming to Sammy's store since I was 14 years old and today I'm a whole 27, turning 28 in a couple of months! 90% of my closet is honestly all of moda fina! The service is not only incredible and welcoming, but everyone is extremely patient. You can find so many treasures in this store. You just have to take your time to search (THIS IS KEY!) and try it all on. 14 years of coming here and I've never left empty handed. You'll find something no matter what and with Sammy there ready to check you out with a smile everytime...
