⭐ 1-Star Review for Cava Restaurant
Parking is a nightmare — there’s no free parking, and the only option is paid valet.
The food portions are extremely small for the price. I ordered lacón con papa a la gallega ($23), and what I got was basically papa con lacón. It came with just two tiny slices of lacón, barely an inch thick, and definitely not the full shank you’d expect at other restaurants. Very disappointing.
Service was terrible: • No napkins provided. • Water glasses were never refilled. • Appetizer plates were taken away but utensils not replaced. • Some items we ordered never even arrived.
The sangria was watered down with mostly ice, barely any fruit, and just a bit of lemon.
On top of that, if you bring a cake, they charge $3 per person just to cut and serve it. For our group, that added up to $45 just for cutting cake! Then they added tax and a “service fee” on top of it.
Finally, they tack on 18–20% mandatory gratuity, regardless of the poor service. When we questioned it, we were told it’s “mandatory.” But gratuity by definition should be based on service, not forced.
Overall, overpriced, poor service, tiny portions, and unfair charges. Definitely not worth it — there are many other restaurants that serve better food, with real portions, and treat customers with respect.
STAY AWAY !!! Not worth the visit or never the Price for the the portion...
Read moreCava Miami is a must-visit gem for lovers of Spanish culture and cuisine. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional—starting with seamless valet service and continuing with top-tier hospitality throughout the night. Every staff member we encountered was courteous, attentive, and impressively knowledgeable, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Special thanks to Isabella, whose warm smile, impeccable timing, and attention to detail elevated our evening—her service was nothing short of outstanding. The food? Absolutely delicious. Each dish was masterfully prepared—kudos to the chef and team for capturing the essence of authentic Spanish flavors. The Flamenco show was an unforgettable spectacle. The dancers captivated the audience with their skill, passion, and artistry. While I wouldn't call myself a flamenco expert, I was thoroughly moved by the performances. The "cantaora" and the guitarist provided an emotional backbone to the show, seamlessly weaving through a variety of "palos" and introducing innovative fusion elements that added a fresh twist without compromising tradition. In every way, Cava Miami felt like a magical slice of Andalusia nestled in the heart of our beloved city. A truly enchanting experience that we’ll be recommending to...
Read moreHad the pleasure of going to CAVA for my mother’s 70th Birthday celebration. We were a party of nine. We each had the choice of one appetizer, one main course and drinks. I picked the cheese/prosciutto for app and paella for main course. The meal was good but not great. The bread was cold, and only two little baskets considering we were 9 people. I would not say the food was bad, but just wasn’t great. (Thus four stars and not five). The sangria was good though! The waitress was very good at keeping our glasses full. Now to the show- It starts after you have finished eating because you want to watch the entire show. These performers were extraordinary. The were young, enthusiastic and so very talented. They danced, sang and played that guitar with such passion we forgot for a moment that we were in Little Havana. My mother even got emotional. We always go to Spain but because of Covid. . BRAVO to CAVA for these performers. I hope you treat them right and pay them their worth in gold!- We will return to CAVA but it will not be because of the food, it will be because of these artists. I highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed with the experience. Also they followed COVID protocols and the restaurant was half empty....
