The place is brand new and kept impeccably clean on the grounds (some dog feces have been noted on the paved walk by the river though). The staff is extremely pleasant, helpful, warm , friendly and knowledgeable.... best kudos to Maurice, the concierge who always lifts my spirits! Our security guard is A#1 as well! The reason I've given this property a "4" instead of a "5" is its location and the nuisance smokers. Nestled on the Miami River is fine, but the surrounding neighborhood is depressed and very very noisy. The fire , police trucks and ambulances constantly come through NW 7th St blaring. Not to mention loud engines of folks who just live to rev their engines and speed. The roosters in the neighborhood are bothersome and if you're not used to it , can be a nuisance...not only in the noise they make, but are all over the roads and impede traffic. There is no place to wander outside the grounds, (no shops, restaurants, parks)...and I wouldn't take a walk in the neighborhood. Lastly, there is no smoking allowed on premises, and Marijuana is illegal in Fla, yet there are some who like to smoke by the pool....we adhere to the no smoking policy (reg cigarettes) , so should everyone else. It's offensive. Unfortunately lve also discovered that there is no sun at the pool during winter months...at all....so if you like to catch some rays, this is not for you. The bldg is situated such that the low lying winter sun is blocked completely all day. We have a studio apt and it's fine. When it's quiet, I can hear my next door neighbors alarm clock...and neighbors just above us, walking heavily. The garage is safe, secure and immaculate. Prices are ok. The bldg is 10-15 min from anywhere you want to go. The 24 gym is convenient....equipment is ok quality wise. There is a club room you can rent ...which we used once. Hefty fee though. All in all, considering everything, Remi on the River is a fine place to live for a short while. All things considered, Remi on the River is a good place to...
Read moreI just recently moved into Remi on the River. I am a small business owner and bachelor who thinks this is the perfect residence for someone like me. As a dog owner, this place is totally catered to a dog friendly environment and community. One of the best dog parks in the city right on the Miami River exclusively for the residents. From the first contact with Sophia and her collegue Kristin DeLeon, they made the move in process super smooth and easy, from the application all the way to moving in day. Moving in was a great way to meet the staff. The whole staff, security and management are super helpful. I can't express enough thanks especially to Nelson and Diego who have gone out of their way to help make my moving go smooth with elevator, parking and traffic as it is a very vibrant and busy place. The real hero is Carlos. He introduced himself on the first day and asked if there is anything I ever need just ask. I appreciate his genuine concern. Since I am new, The key fab being new to me, I left it in the room moving after his work hours on Saturday. Nelson was able to contact him for me come to the building to let me into my room. I did it again on Wednesday and grabbed my wallet instead. Nelson contacted Carlos again and he was here to help in a very short amount of time and I think he lives 30 min off property. I am so grateful for his quick response and help. He always has a genuine smile and you can tell he loves his job. I am super grateful and blessed to be living in a great community here in the heart of Miami especially with a staff here that truly cares. Living here at Remi on the River is truly a vibe....
Read moreAfter looking at 11 different apartments over three months, I knew once I had came to Remi on the River that it was the place for me. The amenities are amazing, the building is always clean and the staff is very attentive and friendlier than anywhere else I’ve ever lived or toured. More than anything my leasing agent Sophia Calderon was so patient and informative and the decision would not have been able to be made without her support, knowledge, and guidance. It’s unfortunate that the only time people leave bad reviews is when they can’t afford to buy the product or make the lease at a place they never intended to live in the first place. I can happily call this place home and the staff has made me feel like family which is so comforting because my family lives very far away. I originally moved into a one bedroom then after 35 days of living here asked Sophia about moving to a two bedroom after just signing my lease and getting moved in. She looked at me, smiled, and said “let’s go look at some units and I will do everything in my power to make this happen for you, don’t stress.” I am now in my new apartment with a beautiful view and amazing amenities and an even more amazing staff. If you’re thinking about moving, you won’t have to look any further than Remi in the River. If you’re also a difficult person such as myself please be sure to ask for Sophia Calderon in the leasing office when you come in because she will give you all the knowledge and answers you need to make a well informed decision. These people make my morning everyday with their amazing personalities and attentiveness to their residents,...
