The ride is not bad but I don't know what's with the terrible attitude....we were there at noon on 02/25 and the people operating the magic carpet were insensitive to the point of disbelief. My 6 y.o was scared to take the ride and they wouldn't let me take the magic carpet to go talk to her and get her down. I had to climb the hill at the risk of personal injury. At that point I didn't care since I just wanted to get to my daughter and made the trek up. My bigger worry was how do I get her down if she didn't want to take the tube ( which she thankfully did after i spoke to her)...the guys operating the carpet/escalator offered no alternative options and were just hell bent on talking rules instead of trying to find a solution. I'm wondering if they have an exit plan if someone has a medical emergency on top of the slope. Going by my interactions with the 2 geniuses operating the escalator/carpet , I guess they'd want them to roll down the slope . What was more worrying was that there didn't seem to be any chain of command or escalation path. There were no managers around to smooth things over. News flash guys, not everyone is trying to bum a ride without paying for one. (In our case we paid for 2 hours per person and just took 1 ride each). Sometimes there are emergency situations which require you to be flexible. You might have a lawsuit coming your way sooner rather than later if you don't plan for these situations. I slipped and almost fell twice on the climb up. Who knows what would have been the...
Read moreWe did not enjoy our time tubing. The staff was nice and it wasn't expensive but it was just a guy with a hose wetting the track when we went on August 18th. He wasn't able to keep it wet since the water kept evaporating and it was hot. He needed another guy with a hose to wet the bottom of the track while someone kept the top wet. We stopped halfway down the track since it was dry by the time out tube got there. The track is grating over gravel. The tubes had a solid bottom and were cracked with holes in them. The girl at the top of the track pushing us was not strong enough to make us go fast. Not a vinyl track to slide down or even a track with water continuously flowing. My 14 stepdaughter was also disappointed. It felt like something a parent could build in their backyard with a hill and some materials from Home Depot. It was not what we expected and will not...
Read moreUnfortunately, I had a bad experience with this place. One woman left two tubes on the middle of the escalator and walk away. Me, my son and other 2 kids crushed and tilted down on each other with tubes. My left leg crushed very badly. Fortunately I was able to hold my son hand. He was about to fall of steep area. Good thing is, escalator operator reacted quickly. Management just deployed couple of kids to operate this premises. Somebody should educate people on not to leave tubes...
