White Lightning Snowtubing — Local services in Middle Smithfield Township

Wow!!! What a blast my kids and grandkids had this past New Years Eve weekend. The place is just perfect and not overcrowded like to other snow parks in The Poconos. White Lighting made their own snow this past weekend. it was just perfect. The 3pm - 5 pm slot was soldout so we caught the 5pm - 7pm slot. The grandkids did about 10 trips each down the hill and were pretty much wiped out after 1.5 hours. The "carpet" ride to the top of the hill was great. The Park is easy to get too, easy to park, has an open bit fire that was fantastic, and you can make s'mores while you wait for your kids to exit the hill. We are definitely going back! Every time we visit our vacation home in the winter this place will be on our bucket...

So I purchased tickets to go in early January. Unfortunately the weather did not permit me to travel to East Stroudsburg. I called to reschedule and it was not without difficulty. The staff gave us a hard time and would not work with my situation. Even tried to get us to make the trip just to take a rain check. Finally they allowed us to take a “rain check” and that we will receive an email in 5-7 business days??? Anyways I never got an email. I called to see if I can get a solution and was given an excuse that the manager wasn’t in so they’ll take my number down. Never got a call back and at this point I won’t plan on going. I’m very disappointed in how my situation was handled and how I have gotten no response to...

As much as I want to give 5 stars, because of all the fun we had, I cannot. We purchased tickets online, hours before arrival, and no one called or emailed us to let us know the magic carpet was broken.

After 1.5hr drive we were offered rain check tickets or we could simply just walk up the mountain everytime. I didn't mind the extra walking but what is extremely unprofessional was no one offering half off or free tickets for us to come back next time, due to the inconvenience of no magic carpet and no communication telling us.

For this reason, we will never come back. When equipment is broken and people drive 1.5hrs with zero knowledge of broken equipment, at the very least, offer some sort of incentive or discount...
