The Warehouse Tavern & Grill staff extended a warm welcome, although our dining experiences on two separate days varied significantly. I must commend Pooke (apologies if misspelled) for her exceptional service, deserving of a solid 5-star rating. She graciously attended to our family of two adults and a child, providing attentive care, precise orders, and valuable suggestions. The portion sizes and sauce on the first day were excellent, and we had no complaints.
On the second day, when we arrived at 7:20 pm, the manager declined to seat us, citing a system issue. Instead, the resort provided us with dining credit that would expire at 9 pm, which left us quite surprised. After initially refusing our request for a pickup order, another staff member eventually allowed it. When we were about to place the order, a gentleman informed us that the system was back online, and we were welcome to dine in. The manager seemed uncertain throughout this process, which left an awkward impression. This situation made it appear as though resort credit customers were unwelcome, despite the restaurant being 50% occupied, and logically, if the system was down, no orders should have been taken.
It is evident that the establishment may be understaffed. Even with available tables, the manager informed every family of a 20 to 25-minute wait. If they do not wish to accommodate resort customers with credit, it would be better to address this at the management level rather than treating customers in this manner. This single-star deduction is solely due to this experience.
Aside from this managerial issue on the second day, everything else, including the food and service, was commendable with no complaints. The restaurant offers ample free parking for cars, and there is also a shuttle service available for resort guests, although shuttle timings may need verification. Additionally, the restaurant provides Wi-Fi for...

Service was great. The waiter was friendly and asked us several times how we liked our meals.
We both had the half rack of ribs which were a nice cut and had a decent amount of fat which adds flavor. The ribs were cooked perfectly (clearly cooked with substantial Maillard reaction which yields a meat the falls off the bone). Absolutely wonderful. Order the bbq sauce on the side because it’s very sweet and dominates the delicious flavor of the ribs. I hardly used any bbq sauce at all since there was a spice dry rub on the ribs to start with.
The Cole slaw was ok. Cole slaw is Cole slaw. It was very “wet” with lots of mayo and I am not a fan of Cole slaw with too much mayo and too much sugar, both of which were overly abundant in this slaw.
As far as the sweet potato fries, we left most on the plate. They were just bland in my opinion. I would have preferred them to be baked than fried in unhealthy vegetable oil. They need to be properly spiced and these were not. They are, by default, served with a marshmallow topi g which we declined.
The French Onion soup was delicious. Lots of cheese and tons of onions.
Overall an above average Dining experience all around and I do recommend that you stop in for a bite while in the area, you won’t be disappointed.
One thing I take issue with is the automatic inclusion of an 18% tip regardless of party size. In NYC I would expect this but not in Stroudsburg PA. I would’ve tipped at 20% anyway but I usually start at 20% and work my way down from there depending upon service. Here you had no choice but to tip 18%. I am not fond of that and believe that wait staff should work for their tips. Regardless the service was good anyway and...
Read moreMeh. Last night we called to place a dinner order and nobody answered. Not cool. Went today for lunch. Nachos were horrible. Out of jalapeños but waitress didn’t tell us that until I mentioned there was barely any topping on nachos. You get a mountain of nachos with a pitiful amount of anything else. Fish N Chips is a huge piece of cod that is greasy, tasteless and unappetizing looking. The coleslaw…which is normally a must to go with fish was warm, soupy and gross. WARM coleslaw?? It almost seemed microwaved…like they put the entire plate in microwave to reheat my food…yuck. Wings were ok. I would order them again. Celery was best part. I had a non virgin frozen lemonade that was like half a cup of sugar and no Titos Vodka to be found. My husband had margherita pizza which he said was ok. It looked good. Garden salad he had looked like it was from public school lunch. Service was good. Nice waitress…except for the lack of heads up about jalapeños. Like, I would never order nachos without jalapeños….so details like that matter. I would return to have a cocktail and wings…maybe try their burgers…but I wouldn’t try anything else. This is a spot that probably does really well based on few choices available…not because of they have good food. As Exploria owners it would be great to have a spot to go with great food. I love to wine and dine when on getaways. A 77.00 tab and 10.00 tip….definitely...
