I will preface that when I do have time I will go inside stores to shop but unfortunately I work overnights as a first responder so drive up pick up is my go to for all my shopping & is my life saver since I am always on the go and waking up when many stores are closing or simply do not having enough time between waking up & getting ready for a 12-16 hour work shift. I never had an issue until recently when I went to a drive up spot to pick up an order and on a little piece of paper hanging off the spot number, it advised customers they closed the drive up department due to it raining. I understood & went inside to grab my items (even though I had items delivered to me outside during ALL conditions in the many other Targets I have been too especially living in central Pennsylvania).
For the last two weeks I have been trying to order on my app to use drive up and or order pick up and it has not allowed me. At first I thought it may have been a temporary thing but after a few days / now weeks of me trying again something seemed off because it was allowing me to order pick up or drive up at other locations, just not Middletown. I want to be able to use my target circle coupons and drive to my closest location which is Midtown but have been unsuccessful. I’ve called that department multiple times now with no response & it immediately disconnects me after a few rings. Although I am going to miss ordering off the app and using target circle offers I have been doing my shopping with other local stores/amazon that allow me to do drive up orders or quick delivery with no hassle or issues. I really do hope this target gets their things in order because although it seems like a small issue a lot of people do rely on that system of ordering & now are brining their business elsewhere if this is no...
Read moreI used to love shopping at Target, but within the past few years I have noticed a change. The only reason I will step into Target is because of convenience...otherwise I am not making big plans to go shopping there.
EVERYTIME I come to this store, the clothing/shoes section is an absolute disaster and I can never find my size.
There are U-Boats all over the floor, cardboard boxes, and this is blocking items that I need to grab.
There are never more then 2 or 3 cashiers, because Target loves to utilize their Self-Checkout...and this leads to LONG LINES all the way down past the greeting cards.
Next are the workers there....I have NEVER once been asked if I need assistance with anything, a smile, a hello...NOTHING....pretty much sums up how happy these people are working at Target.
Also, the amount of teenagers running around the store, and filming themselves dancing for TikTok videos has become another major issue....I want to shop in somewhat peace and this is the absolute opposite.
I can go on and on and on about all the cons to this store....I simply cannot think of any pros.
Either way I will try my best not to shop at Target anymore, because I am sick of giving them my money for horrible service, ridiculous high prices. The only reason I shop here at this point, which i stated previously is for convenience due to where I live this is the closet big store retailer that will have what I need last minute.
I assume Target will not care to make any changes as long as there revenue is in the billions, so this complaint is just a vent sesh...
Read moreRecently I stopped in to pick up a quick electronics purchase, which was listed on targets own website for less than the store price, and requested a price match. What ensued was a lesson in how NOT to be costumer friendly.
The clerk working in the electronics department did not even try to hide his annoyance at a customer asking for help finding a product.
The second clerk at the register was annoyed that I was asking her where to take the item to have it pricematched. The store manager, Genesis, was probably the rudest that I have encountered in any store in a very long time. This woman actually went out of her way to show her superiority over me, and showed a very clear pleasure in announcing that "she will not honor the pricematch".
I bought the item at the regular price and, within 15 minutes had the corporate office profusely apologizing for the manager's behavior, and issuing me a gift card, not just to appease me, but admitting that the store was wrong in denying the price adjustment.
I've lived in this area for over 10 years, and have steadily seen a decline in customer service in this store. Very sad. This used to be a very pleasant place to shop....
