Diedrich Espresso 128th — Restaurant in Washington

I went here and saw the amazing and creative monthly drink specials they come up with and thought it was a national chain. It's actually not; the owner runs three different locations and she comes up with fantastic ideas that are very creative, including a few October themed drinks that looked great (but I'm a caffeine addict due to chronic fatigue, so I wouldn't get them without some caffeine...maybe add a little red bull.) The ladies she hires are also very sweet; inquiring about your day, what you're doing, very positive workers. They also really know their Italian coffee facts, which was a nice change. I especially like the small location because it's cute but I hope they have enough form to sit. I have to say some of the drinks are very beautiful too in terms of color and mixtures, etc.! I asked for a caramel cappuccino, they gave me a frappe, I let the barista know I asked for a caramel cappuccino not caramel frappe, her response was oh this is really good I promise! Instead of fixing my drink and making it right, I told her I didn’t like frappes she still proceeded to hand me the drink I didn’t want! After she charged me I asked for a CARAMEL CAPPUCCINO and gave her my card because I wasn’t going to drink the other she gave me, she took my card charged me for my second drink not with the greatest attitude “rolling her eyes” and by the time I left I took a sip out of my coffee and it WAS NOT a caramel cappuccino!! I go here almost everyday, they make my drink right every time. Only issue is that my second time going there today I mentioned I’d be using my free drink and the barista lady (who was actually from another location) proceeded to ask me what I will be paying with, a little confused I said with a card just in case there was an outstanding balance and only charged me .50 cents (Diedrich charges .50 cents if paying with card) plus tip, these charges were so unnecessary since l was not supposed to be paying at all.
