Title: A Disappointing Experience at U.mi Massage Parlor
I recently visited U.mi Massage Parlor with high hopes for a rejuvenating experience, but what I received was far from satisfactory. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this establishment prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction.
First and foremost, the massage lasted significantly shorter than the time I paid for. I had booked a full hour, but my therapist wrapped things up in just 40 minutes. I found myself lying there, confused and disappointed, wondering if I had somehow entered a time warp. When I politely brought this to the attention of the staff, I was met with indifference rather than understanding. It felt like my concerns were brushed aside like a pesky fly.
To add insult to injury, at the end of the session, I was confronted with an awkward and uncomfortable push for a tip. The pressure was palpable, as if I had to compensate for a service that was already lacking. I believe tipping should be a gesture of appreciation for good service, not an obligation coerced from customers. Itās disheartening to see a business resort to such tactics instead of focusing on providing quality service that would naturally inspire gratuity.
The ambiance of the parlor, while initially inviting, quickly faded in the face of poor service and unprofessionalism. The overall experience felt rushed and transactional, lacking the warmth and care one should expect from a massage therapy establishment.
In summary, I would not recommend U.mi Massage Parlor to anyone looking for a genuine and fulfilling massage experience. There are plenty of other places that value their customers and provide the service they promise. Save your time and moneyāthis place is...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING! Booked a 90 min couples massage for my husband and I for our ANNIVERSARY. It was the worst massage weāve ever had. First of all they want you to pay for the massage before hand, thatās ok but when I said we will tip after the massage they both gave a look. We always tip, we just wanted to get through the massage before we tipped for service. (Maybe they thought we werenāt gonna tip? Maybe thatās why the massage hurt so bad?) second their is no changing rooms/robes or a proper place for your clothes other than a couch in the room. Both girls barely said a couple of words just ātake clothes off put in couchā. Nothing else was really said. (Language barrier)Now the worst part the first 30 min was so horrible it was a dry massage to the head and neck. It was so PAINFUL my skull and neck feel like I have bruises all over and Iām having a hard time turning my neck with headaches. It was like nails dug into the skull and neck. I said it hurt and was recoiling but she still kept going. I just decided to just suck it up and hope she would move on to another part soon. After 30 min finally the oil came out and was a bit better but still those finger tips hurt. The back and legs werenāt so bad more of the skull and neck. As for my husband he was so uncomfortable because every time he even tried to adjust his back or hands the girl giving his massage would startle and jump back. He was so uncomfortable. It was so painful that the rest of the day (our anniversary) was thrown off I had to take ibuprofen for the pain. Now itās the next day and Iām in more pain. Iāve had plenty of massages elsewhere and I have NEVER had this happen to me before. And no itās not āstressā. I do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I have a tradition of getting couple massages after Christmas as a way of starting the new year right. This year we tried U.mi massage and it was by far our favorite massage we've ever had! After they left the room my husband said "We should come here every other month!" It was that good!
I read a review that mentioned the reviewer wouldn't classify it as a relaxing spa massage and I agree, although I did find it very relaxing. I would classify this as a therapeutic massage. The kind where you find out where you are carrying your pain/emotions and they use their knowledge to get rid of all of it so you leave feeling energized.
My legs have been in pain for several months now and normally a quick trip to the chiropractor gets me by but this has persisted. After one visit the pain in my legs is gone! I'm absolutely amazed!
They also offer cupping, which I'm particular about, but I would have no problem allowing them to do cupping or acupressure on me.
If you go I recommend you skip Groupon and pay them directly as it is...
