I got help with the product in store in Milpitas and the lady was good. I came home made a decision to buy and no one answers the call The store is empty when I was there this morning just an hr ago. Now no one seems to answer the calls at any extensions. Which means one more trip to place order. I had to call SL showroom to help me get in touch with the Milpitas store.
Not only that after all the below experience I placed order on line and went in store to pick up. The associate at the register was so so exhausted or did not want to help, we could not figure out. Asked her where to pick up the tiles she said find a specialist or something or I forgot what name she used. Asked her to page someone she said we need to go find ourselves. Requested her to call some associate to help us, she refused. Requested her to call manager, she just did not. I asked her again where to pick up and she said just because you paid it does not mean you get delivery same day. Duhhh! My order showed delivery ready and she did not even look once. Asked her name as she had no name tag, she closed register and walked away??? Seriously. I told her I would take her picture and let her manager know and she yelled back, or give me ur name and she walked away. Meantime my husband had found looking for help and met Ajit who then helped us locate where to pick my order and make the rest of the purchases. She was either discriminating because of how we look, color or she was having a bad day. In which case she should just take time off. She literally denied help. Even the other two customers behind us noticed. Use your cameras to see her interaction with us. Read moreI would like to address the customer service at the Milpitas store. Everyone from the floor staff to the cashiers were NOT helpful! Especially coming from a store where I’m literally spending thousands of dollars, you would think people would want to help you out. Everyone in the Milpitas store seemed to absolutely hate their job. The floor staff couldn’t tell us what tile was displayed on one of their displays. They started putting our carts away to go backs while we were shopping for grout. The cashier was extremely rude about an item that we just purchased that went to clearance just 24 hours after we purchased it. They said they couldn’t price adjust it, that I’d have to bring in all of the material back to the store and re purchase it. After I asked if someone can help me unload them from the truck because that’s a lot of work to bring every single box back into the store and then load them back onto the pick up truck they said they probably couldn’t because they’re short staff but they would try. A different cashier even rolled her eyes at the request. It’s embarrassing how little they care and want to help. I had asked to speak to the manager about this process and they appointed me to someone who I thought was the manager but wasn’t. I ended up driving all the way home, getting all the material back to the store, only to find the ACTUAL store manager who was actually very kind and helpful. He didn’t make me unload the truck and helped me with the price adjustment. My wife wants to do remodel for our new purchased house. we got 155 pieces of bricks from them for our main bathroom. But we later decided not to do it and we want to return.
When we pick up the bricks in Pleasant store, they told me some of the bricks are out of paper boxes. I am okay with that, even it’s not convenient and barely hurt my fingers when I move them but I have no choice. But today when I return them at the store, they seems really unhappy about it. The cashier call the manager before asking me any questions. And when the manager come, the first phrase he said to me is “what’s going on here. What’s the story here” I mean I literally was shocked with his attitude. He seems not even willing to talk to me or ask questions but directly blaming me and ask for an explanation. I am pretty friendly and all I want is get it refunded so I don’t want to start a fight. So I patiently explained to him that part of the bricks don’t have a box when they delivered to me. As i photoed in my garage. I also want the box, without the box it’s difficult for me to move them as well.
