The Miramar has gone through some delightful renovations. Tri-wall LED screens for visuals, plus a fun ceiling LED display. This is the best place for affordable shows and a good time with friends. Convenient outside area for smoking that doesn't require re-entry. Bathrooms are nicer than before. Nicer VIP areas with bottle service purchase. Will always come back because I've never had a bad time here. Friendly efficient staff. I do miss the janky auditorium like seating in the back because I'm getting older and sometimes you just wanna sit in the dark back and vibe instead of standing on your feet for 5ish hours behind tall ppl with other ppl shoving their way through you to get to the front.

I’ve gotten to experience multiple events at the Miramar over the past year or so and have really enjoyed just how many different genres and scenes of music it offers, especially the summer boat series. Such an eclectic variety -rnb, bass/dubstep, house, hipster disco…to name a few. The light shows and sound effects can be mesmerizing where the whole venue shakes. I’ve had fun at events I had no expectation of enjoying. Always entertaining!

Excellent small venue. VIP can get you almost on stage (which I enjoyed watching Downlink mixing on 4 decks at a time). Wasn't too busy for the show we saw and bar service was pretty quick with typical beer pricing (I don't drink hard liquor out). If it was busier, there's a second bar they could open. Four stars only because the venue's a little rough around the edges...

Me and boyfriend went to this place and after waiting in the freezing cold for 30 minutes. We didn’t mind we came to have fun and so did everyone else, the bouncer walks around asking people if they have online tickets, we did not, he told us it was 20 dollars to get in and 10 if you had your student ID. We get to the front and they tell us it’s 30 cash only, my boyfriend did not have all the cash on him so we stepped aside and got money from a friend inside the event but never even stepped in the actual party area. My boyfriend was grabbing money but I told him I just wanted to leave, so as he starts to hand the money back this bouncer dude is getting mad at my boyfriend for taking so long, my boyfriend says chillax and this bouncer grabs his arm grabs MY arm and kicks us out yelling at us, this bouncer just got yelled at for messing up the prices and is now getting mad at my boyfriend for not having the right amount of money as he is getting money. Even if he was “taking long” this bouncer would ask my bf to hurry up literally 5 SECONDS after my bf pulled out his wallet. Honestly so disrespectful so unprofessional I am 19 and got manhandled like a child that night. This was one of my first times out and the staff made me feel so embarrassed and unwelcome because of their error to tell everyone what the prices are. I just wanted to enjoy a show with my friends on Halloween, now I will NOT be going...

Been at this venue of all venue's that hosts just about every kind of genre but I'm usually going to when an underground rap hip hop or Horrorcore Gorehop Phonk Or Death RAP & sometimes Punk/Ska or a great just classic rock n roll band & have twice myself been an opener for some dope acts but yeah it's definitely a must experience for a Iive show & it's very much a (don't get caught stirring up bs cuz 🤔 alot might just like that remove you & take your girl/n safely assist her home etc if he was her transportation or whatnot lol but yeah I'm a very much stoked thee 414 East Side In a very much fun loving time to of the part of town & meeting locals you'll have no problem usually but depends because alot of us love to hangout with our ppl that we are obviously together there with (& aren't very appreciated with sloppy drunx whether chix or not lol but fr it's very important to mind ya own but every time I go out (not Miramar) But pubs around yall, I'm constantly seeing or hearing or involved in some sort of fvckery hi jinx and it's a bummer buzz kill & when ppl decide to threaten ppls life that they never once met and since they can't hold they liquor yet now youngsters are basically getting traumatized on a nighty basis & that's thee only horrible unfortunate part of our nightlife scene not spoken up about enough tho but SHOWS AT THE MIRAMAR 9.8...

Got around 15 to buy tickets for my birthday to celebrate with me, it was actually a 3 day one was at the Mar. Owner completely ruined my 21st when I asked for my free shot. ANYWHERE else in Wisconsin will. I wouldve been buying drinks all night after that. I even waited until midnight even tho they gave me the band once i got there i was beyond disappointed. He said this ain't a f-ing charity get off my bar if you're not gonna pay. Could've just no dude. Something most ppl look forward to for a long time. Worst part was it was the owner. Haven't been back since, will never be back. Something I'll probably never forget. Went to a 2-night event at the majestic in Madison and was given a drink both nights for free. After getting a little more in me I stuck around and ran my story to the bartender. Second day I didn't ask and the bartender remembered me. he said this one's for the one you should've got. Their loss, not only am I a generous tipper, I also attend alot of shows almost always bringing a full car with me. It's unfortunate because they have some really good artist come perform there. However I'll spend money anywhere else or drive plenty further just to avoid this money grab dumpster. I'll take experience over...
