Update: pipes burst after a bit more than a year. They still havenât come out to fix it so I have no water to the outside faucet in front. No way to water the garden.
â Previous review:
Just got an estimate and Jeff was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I will update this review if we choose to use them to reflect that part of the experience as well.
So they were at 5 stars during the estimate. They came out to do a full repipe. I was told that they needed to upgrade the line coming into the house to get better volume. I had just done a ton of expensive rockscaping near the water meter. I was told during the estimate that they would not need to dig it up. I paid half and got on the schedule.
They showed up and started work. I went outside and they had dug up a 6â long section of the rock work they said they wouldnât need to dig up. They said they would restore it to original condition before they finished.
The next day the went under the house. There are muddy handprints all along the wall beside the crawlspace where they leaned on the siding with muddy hands. This was the day they did the bathroom. I had shown them where the new shower faucet was tied to the old system. I installed it 3 years ago and never a leak. I wanted the SharkBite connectors back when they replaced the pipe. Instead of replacing the whole pipe he tried to skimp and only replace to the junction. He also hooked the shower up backwards so hot was cold and cold was hot. That night at 6am I woke up to an inch of water in the floor. The new plumbing they did had come apart and was spraying water into the wall and the floor.
They brought in a company that put dehumidifiers and cut holes in the walls that didnât have pipes in them so they could dry. They told me the subfloor was soaked and needed replaced but they wouldnât do it so I now have to do that at my own expense. As well as fix holes in a couple walls that DO NOT EVEN HAVE PIPES IN THEM.
They left bits of old plumbing laying around the yard and never picked them up (they are still here) even after I asked MULTIPLE TIMES for them to be removed.
They failed the inspection and took weeks to get back to me about that.
I REALLY wanted to give these guys a 5 star because they were nice and I liked them. But the work was shoddy and there were some really dumb decisions they mad about pipe routing. (Letâs put a pipe over the access panel to the breaker box so you have to deal with water pipes when working on electricity. Fun!)
Overall I would not recommend them and thatâs a shame because I think they have the potential to be so much better but they dropped every ball this time. I am not happy with the work and will be calling a different company for my...
Read moreDominique came back this morning and installed my brand new kitchen faucet with soap dispenser (replacing the old ones). They are amazing!!! She did a brilliant job as per usual and ensured there was no leaking. She also showed me a feature on my new faucet and how to remove the aerator with a key that came with it. AMAZING!! AgainâŚthank you Dominique and the wonderful team you work with at 3 Mountains Plumbing!! You rock girl!đ
Dominique was able to come out again for another plumbing issue. My kitchen faucet was leaking. Itâs a pullout faucet so that you can use it as a sprayer as well. She found that the gasket was askew, but is also wearing out. She was able to straighten it out. Luckily from my unfortunate garbage disposal seal leak two years ago that caused a lot of water damage, I had placed a large plastic tub under my new garbage disposal that had packaged scrub sponges inside the tub (the ones you get from CostcoâŚthe outer package came apart and they were loose, so I put them in the tub). The water from the faucet had leaked down into the tub and the thin plastic wrap on the sponges didnât hold, so the sponges soaked up a lot of the water that got into the tub. None of the water got out of the tub or onto the cabinet floor. It was all dryâŚwhew!! While she was here, she checked all my other faucet connections and my toilet connections. Iâm so thankful that she did, she found two connections in the upstairs bathroom that were leaking. She was able to replace them and the guts inside the master toiletâŚthey were going out. The maintenance plan that I started this summer with 3 Mountains Plumbing is paying for itself. Dominique is coming back today to install my new faucet I purchased at Loweâs so I hopefully wonât have anymore leaking. She has been so amazing and thorough every time she has come here and I canât thank her or 3 Mountains Plumbing enough for their service and professionalism. I feel safer knowing they have taken care of the plumbing needs of my home. Thank you Dominique and Thank You 3 Mountains Plumbing!!!
Dominique was so helpful and professional. She not only installed my new stopper in the sink, she replaced the arm that was about to break as well. She made sure my new stopper had a new arm to hold it in place. ...
Read moreEverything was great until I was strung along for 3 months (with no hose to my backyard) and then totally ghosted.
These guys did a sewer scope, found a problem, fixed it. It was expensive, but it was a big job. Everyone was friendly, seemed on it, and the various stages of the job, carried out by different people each time, all went smoothly. I was feeling 5 stars good and done.
Around the same time as we were ready to sign off on this sewer work, a sprinkler in my yard began floodingâthe pipe had broken (not related to the first problem, just a coincidence), and in turning the water off there, my backyard hose was turned off as well. So I got in touch with Steven, the guy who had done the initial sewer scope and seemed to be running the show; he came out, helped diagnose the issue, sent a guy out to take care of it. The guy (who Iâm told is no longer with the company) was both rude and unhelpful. So after a while, they sent another guy, who couldnât figure it out. Meanwhile, $10,000 sewer job is completed around mid April. Iâm told the sprinkler thing is âbeing escalated to ownershipâ April 29th. A week later, they send a third guy, Lance, really sweet contractor who had done the concrete on the sewer job. He tried for a long time before saying it was old pipe, rusty threads, couldnât be done, and I should just have a hose run from the house to a new backyard spigot, because it was getting warm and the hose was needed. Okay. Said the office would call me to schedule. No one did. I texted Steven, who said he was on it. Then nothing. So I called the office, they said Iâd get a call back in 24 hours. Nothing. JUNE 5th I text Steven and get âOn it!â 10 days later, JUNE 16TH, I try again. NOTHING. I am writing this on June 24th, about 3 months after we started down this incredibly unproductive road. Never been ghosted by a company I was fully prepared to give more money to. Maybe they just wanted the $10k job and not the $2k job? Wish theyâd just said that. My back yard is almost dead, but at least it looks like Wolferâs will do the job this week. What an enormous waste of time and energy. I feel super stupid to have hung in with the company...
