Today was my first time stopping by and grabbing lunch for my boyfriend and I. I was so amazing by how good it was I needed to write a review! The breakfast sandwiches were made like paninis and they were so tasty! We got the ham one and a sausage one (I think it was turkey sausage, bonus for healthy meats!) What I was most impressed with was their Turmeric Chai Latte! I’ve tried some before that I didn’t really enjoy, but this one was so sweet and soothing, and Turmeric is great for those with stomach issues (my boyfriend and I have those issues so we loved it.) They also have a Yam Chai Latte that I didn’t not try, but it’s hard to find delicious unique drink like these! So glad I came here and is officially my favorite cafe in Milwaukie.

Also thank you to the barista that served me, she was super sweet and patient when I couldn’t get my sentences straight and she was the only one there working when a line formed behind me. Above and beyond service. Tip your coffee...

This was a very frustrating experience for Sunday at 11am. I had to repeat my order exactly three times; oat milk latte with vanilla with 2 shots, two pounds of coffee one ground for a coffee maker and the other whole bean. She asked me my coffee order three times until the barista said “I got it” and smiling at me, acknowledging the inconvenience. Not only did I have to repeat the order three times in front a very long line forming behind me, when I got home I found that in her haste she did not close the ground coffee bag and it spilled all over the bag and in my car. Furthermore, she cut off the top 2 inches of the coffee bag so I can barely close it. Why would you cut the top of the coffee bag? It has a built-in fastener that allows us to reuse the bag for freshness and storage. The pounds of coffee are nearly $20 each. I spent good money for an extremely disappointing experience and the ground bag of coffee which was a gift has...

Seems like a cute little place but first time here and after waiting over 15 mins while I sat and ate my buttermilk bar (which was delicious) I still had not gotten my coffee. When I went up to inquire somehow they just missed making my order. There was no apology and frankly the response was lackadaisical. Doubt I’d come back based on poor customer service.

**update, I appreciate the reply from owner but I was not on a computer at all. So not sure where that assumption came from. I was very aware of orders called out and watched one after another of other customers after me getting their orders. The gal at the counter already acknowledged it was missed. So yes it happens, but don’t try and blame the consumer. Even less likely to return...

On my first visit here, I happened to meet the owner and he was so nice to talk to and helpful with suggestions on what to try. They even set me up with a birthday latte on the house! The quality of ingredients seem to be carefully selected and the baristas know how to brew amazing espresso. Oh my gosh the latte was so beautiful and so delicious. I loved the ceramic mugs. I got the toasted panini with chicken and tomato pesto to eat, and it was *excellent*. Thought the complimentary apple sauce on the side was a really nice addition to the meal. There is not a huge amount of seating, but it was comfortable to dine-in and celebrate my birthday with family.

After initially going for a pastry, I decided to try the tuna panini and it was pretty yummy! For a coffee shop the food I had was definitely above average. The focaccia bread really stole the show with its perfectly crunchy exterior and soft interior and the seasoning on top. It also included apple sauce with cinnamon, which I thought was a nice addition. I'm not so sure the tuna was line-caught, as the menu claimed, but it was good nonetheless.

Really cozy! Great coffee, great staff, great location on a charming little sidewalk on Main Street in Milwaukie! Easily the nicest place in town with lots of comfortable seating outdoors and indoors. It's a quiet and friendly spot, and I spent way too much time there. It's a half a block away from the fabulous Milwaukee farmers market on Sundays and a great place for people watching or to just relax.
