Where to begin? I was looking for a cup of coffee while my husband and was in surgery nearby at Providence Hospital. A neighborhood GEM 💎 is what I discovered. They use Upper Left Roasters for their espresso based drinks and my Americano was perfection. They had Topo Chico and Mexican Coke along with other specialty drinks in the case. A nice selection of snacks like Toro Potato Chips from Spain and the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies with a dash of salt - delicious! There was a curated selection of sandwiches for lunch and breakfast burritos for early morning fare. The little corner spot faces east to soak up the morning sun. Divine. But the best part? Kindness. When I shared why I was there - a rush of emotions came over me and I strayed crying. Embarrassed I turned my back while I was ordering to compose myself and Brooke came around from the counter and offered a warm hug. Being alone in stressful times can take you by surprise. Thank you Brooke for your sweet gesture. I can’t wait to come back with my hubby...

The food? Impeccable. Thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and (most importantly) delicious. The drinks? Equally impressive—whether you’re a coffee purist or someone who loves a creative, well-balanced specialty drink, you’ll leave happy. And the vibe? Perfect. Cozy, welcoming, and filled with the kind of energy that makes you want to stay for just one more cup.
Some people seem to think a café should cater exclusively to their every whim (and let’s be honest, some of these bad reviews reek of entitlement). If you’re looking for high-quality food and drinks made with care, served by people who are passionate about what they do, Good Measure is the place.
Portland has plenty of coffee spots, but this one is special. And judging by how busy it is, I’m not the only one...
Read moreOof, pretty bad opening. I wanted to believe this place wasn’t going to be exactly what is. For 22 dollars you can buy a 4x4 square of greasy overly salted sandwich, and a bag of chips. The sandwiches appear to be shrinking day by day… The interior is pretty much barren of produce, or any other products. The product they have are regular Fred Meyer’s products at more than twice the price. Definitely not a produce store. While the sandwich filling is interesting(wagyu salami? Why would you turn wagyu into salami?!) it’s probably saltier than a Big Mac. For 22$ I expect to have eaten my fill, or had a product that is truly unique. This is not either of those things. I doubt this place will last...
