We are so thrilled that Giving has given life to a corner spot that has sure struggled over the years. The chicken pad thai was so tasty and exactly what we’ve been craving. Flavorful, good portion, everything was cooked just right. The fried chicken bowl was a yummy companion. Just the perfect amount of breading, crunch, flavor, and the chicken was the perfect consistency. To wash it all down, we order a Mai Thai and a Cadillac margarita, the former being our favorite. Top notch. The vibe was chill, clean and simple. Fresh flowers on the table 🌸 Thank you and welcome to the neighborhood!! We will be repeat guests.

The food service was great and the server recommended yummy dishes to me when I was unsure of what to get. The food itself was very fresh and I love how they offer GF options. My favorite dish I tried was the chicken laarb and the Thai lime tea. I would recommend checking out this gem in the heart of downtown Milwaukie! What I ordered: - Thai iced tea - Thai iced lime tea - coconut shrimp - house egg rolls - chicken laarb - chicken pad Thai - fried chicken rice bowl (basil sauce) w/ fish sauce on the side

The crab fried rice is absolutely delicious, and their house curry puffs were so good I had to order them twice. The crispy pork basil fried rice is a must-try, with a unique flavor you won’t find anywhere else. Their selection of Thai dishes truly makes this place a hidden gem!

Yessssssssss. This place is bombbbb. We got the pad thai, pork basil fried rice, and party wings. I consider myself an expert in fried rice because I've been obsessed with it since I was in grade school. Giving's fried rice was so good that I literally could not stop eating it once I started. I inhaled it. I would have eaten more if you had put it in front of me. Absolutely masterful flavors on everything we had, and the freshness? THE FRESHNESS. Everything was so FRESH. EVERYTHING. The rice was fresh. I didn't even realize that could be a thing.

This place deserves to thrive. The interior remodel is beautiful, the staff are sweet. I'll say the quiet part out loud--Giving is superior to any other Asian restaurant in the Milwaukie area. Extremely reasonable pricing--we got a lot of food for what we paid, especially given the quality. Goooooo...
