I thought the place was unique and you can find some serious steals here. Only downpart is that there is not enough products (in my opinion), but that is quite hard to control. Other than that, place was pretty sweet.

One stop shop!! You name it they have it, or they have something that will get the job done. DIY and custom projects warehouse. Plus excellent furniture, lights and decor. Truly a gem.

I love, love, love the HfH Restore! If you are patient, you can find some absolute gems here at prices that cannot be beaten. The staff are very friendly and will do their absolute best to help you.

Now, what you cannot do is show up with a shopping list and expect to find everything on it. This is a place where reusable used, or excess, inventory is donated for a tax deduction. The staff are volunteers and may or may not know what it is you need. Even still, you can find brilliant deals on items of all sorts of quality here. You do need to be educated about what you are looking at as their pricing is someone just a guess about what they think something is worth and may be a tad higher than is merited. Even with that minor caveat, paying a little too much is fine because the mission of HfH is worth it. Overall it would be nearly impossible to spend too much and there are some very unique items to be found. [For example, I purchased a level made from Rosewood and stamped with the original owners name and the date he bought it (1921) for $10!] You owe it to yourself to go here if you are even the...

I have to say when I first walked into the store(new Brighton)I was super happy to see lots of inventory, but as I started shopping I soon found out why.before I go any further I just want to say I do appreciate the volunteers and services HFH offers.what I don't understand is paying $900 for a used sofa bed,or paying $275 for a side table that scratched up that was not in the best shape but then seeing a very nice couch being sold for $65 or seeing the exact same two pieces of furniture both going for drastically different prices.i get that this organization is run off donations and government funding.what I do not get is taking things that were given as charity and putting a price on them as if they were brand new.this store is supposed to be for the ppl out there that can't afford brand new things but would like something a bit better then what u would find at the local thrift store.but some of these prices are...

Bed bugs bed bugs bedbugs.

I bought a headboard about over a month ago. Ended up with bites on my body my mattress was brand new. I found little bugs I googled and bed bugs I go to store and complain basically was told no way it was from headboard. I call Adams pest control they come out said that's exactly where it came from. I call main office talk to Pete O'Keefe he basically said no way again pretty much said I have a dirty place. I ask for his manager he blew me off. I call CEO and no response. I now have a $700 bill for treatment and they don't even care. Stay away.. Oh funny thing is I spoke with Erin at main office he said they even had a outbreak of bedbugs there but nope no way there...
