My taco & Groceries — Restaurant in Richfield

This place needs a good cleaning! The walls have chipped paint and you can see lots of reminants of food from previous diners on them. the tables were still dirty from the last customers even though there was only myself and one other person there. The floors are totally filthy and do not appear to be cleaned routinely. It was a very small place so I wouldn't consider it kid friendly. Normally I would have left because I didn't trust the lack of cleanliness but I stayed because of the good reviews and I was really craving Mexican food. The hype is true in regards to the food quality. I had the Pollo tacos with added peppers. The chicken was very flavorful and delicious. I was debating between 3 and 4 stars but gave this place 4 strictly due to the friendliness of staff...

I called this grocery store specifically looking for freshly made flour tortillas. The person on the call told me they had them, so I went to purchase. I was led to prepackaged LaPerla tortillas on the shelf, but the woman told me they are freshly made and delivered to them three times a week, so they were fresh. When I got them home, they had stickers on the back that looked like expiration dates, so I called LaPerla on Lake Street to make sure I was reading that right, and I was. I purchased these today, 4/25/2022, and they expired on 10/10/2021. Although I was told they deliver to My Taco & Groceries several times a week, LaPerla actually has not delivered there since last September 2021. Very disappointed. Would definitely not...

I ordered two tacos with carne asada and also a platillo de tostadas de tingas. I was giving both red and green sauce. The chef was very nice and friendly. I really enjoyed both meals. The tacos came with onion, cilantro, and the normal fixings. The tostadas de tingas were really packed full of chicken. I didn't expect so much, I was really happy with the amount I got, big avocado slice on top too which was awesome.
