This community ice arena is the home of the Minnesota Magicians Tier 2 NAHL junior hockey team along with several local youth and high school teams. The arena has 2 rinks. The main arena rivals those at typical NCAA Division 3 schools, replete with pro style locker rooms, a pleasant concession area with several TV's and lobby that connects the 2 rinks. It is reachable by 2 bus lines and the facility features ample and free parking. Restaurants are nearby by both foot and car, with a new one directly across the street from the arena.
The only serious drawback that should be addressed by the arena is extremely poor customer service at the concession stand where a lack of civility and common sense manners by the staff detract from an otherwise good arena and environment. There is no excuse for bad...
Read moreI love this Richfield I Ice skating Arena, it's next to my house. Ice skating it's much easier in terms of technical maneuvers ice stopping and changing directions in an instant. Ice skating requires much more core strength and ankle strength as well as more forward knee bend. If you can get in here during the public skating times and you can rent skates are a good price too. I brought my neighbor kids 8 and 5 years old boys and they had a great time.
