MAC'S Hardware — Attraction in Minot

I recently visited the Minot Macs hrdw. Store, my first time back there in 25 years, the store hasn't changed much, but the employees while not the same ones are still the same, always helpful and friendly, always get that little country store vibe when at Mac's. My love of Mac's came from their plentiful govt. Surplus back in the old days, I have found many things (govt. Surplus)over the years that I still own today, while they don't have much govt. Surplus these days they have become a first rate hardware and tool store.. I have been to all but 4 of the Mac's stores, (my company delivers their products from their distribution center in Moorhead, Mn.) One thing I can tell you is they are all the same, filled with hrdw. And tools and staffed by knowledgeable people always friendly and helpful, if they don't have what you need they'll usually give you tips on where you can find it. That's...

So first, kinda irked about the one store associate who left me hanging to go help another customer.

However, the store and the number of items, tools, and the sheer mass amount of options are great! I feel like this store is extremely underappreciated.

Granted, my search for BNC connectors, converters, splitters, and anything related to BNC items failed here as well. But damn is it organized! Even educational as a ton of items have been marked with labels for "easy" identification. They even have an "Odd and Ends" bits where you might just get lucky for rare parts.

MAC'S is always an enjoyable shopping experience in my book. My favorite part has got to be the folding tables up towards the front of the store. They are just loaded with such an array of tools and odds & ends. I can't forget the gizmos & gadgets section, that's where it seems like I always find that something I was totally unaware that I needed. Yet can't figure out how I was getting along with out it hmmm 🤔. I can't forget the staff, talk about people who know their stuff!!
