So when I signed up for a package I was misled to believe that I would get nine minutes in the bed for the package that I purchased instead they shorted me and only gave me five minutes in the bed and told me it will be at their discretion to increase my time even though I paid for 5 full nine minute sessions they only allowed me to tan for five minutes for my first session and told me they would give me more minutes and build up my time at their discretion. The reason they gave me only 5 was so they “will not burn anyone” but when you sign the contract you take full responsibility as a customer for your own liability/damages to your health. That’s what the waiver you sign is all about. So then I asked for my money back and if I could just pay for today’s session and they told me that I may not get a refund. This is very misleading and very deceptive way of doing business. Because on the purchase price listed it has a nine minute bed but you don’t get nine minutes, you get what they give you which is not what you pay for! I was told this after The bed went off after five minutes so I asked the gal working upfront why did the bed go off after five minutes? This all happened after I paid and after I signed the form. So by the time you find out it is too late they already have your money. I am hoping they will make it right and give me a refund or else just give me my full nine minutes that I paid for for every session I have. Be very careful when doing business here ask about this before you pay! Started tanning 2 weeks ago and love it. The place is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. There are various types of beds as well as standing and also spray tanner. The prices are more than reasonable. No vertical lines. Just a nice all over even tan. I read the reviews that were both negative and posted 4 years ago and can't believe them. It doesn't sound like the same place. As an RN I fully understand the reason to slowly graduate the time allotment. To allow a person to jump to 20 minutes could cause a serious burn. Absolutely terrible customer service. Would not recommend to anyone. Beds are ok, rooms are crammed in the back. You wait for a bed to open up when there are 3 employees standing talking at the counter. Today I went in 20 minutes until closing time. Was told I would only be able to be in the bed for 4 minutes. Unacceptable when you are paying top dollar for their services. The employee was obviously wanting to get out of their early.
