I would like to start off by saying that I make a conscious effort to support local businesses. Unfortunately, my experience at this store was subpar. I came into the store because my phone was acting up, and I was due for an upgrade anyway. I told the lady that I was due for an upgrade and that I would like the iPhone 8. She said that they don't have any of the iPhone 8 but the have the iPhone X and before I could say anything, she started walking away. I had to stop her and tell her that I didn't want the X. I then asked for the iPhone 7, after which, the other worker said in a condescending tone, 'No one is going to carry the 7. There is only like, a two dollar difference in the 7 and the 8.' Now, I had been looking to upgrade for awhile and knew that there was definitely more than a two dollar a month difference. There is also a significant difference in price between the 8 and the X. I felt like they were trying to upsell me the entire time. I asked if any other stores had an 8 in stock. She did some typing on the computer and told me that only the store in Grand Forks had the 8. I asked if they would hold the phone there for two days (I knew someone that would be passing through Grand Forks two days later) and the lady told me that they would definitely not hold it for me. So I settled on ordering the phone. They didn't offer me expedited shipping (which it looked like I could have gotten if I had ordered online). I came to find out that this store was not affiliated with the store near Wal-Mart, which is a corporate store. I ended up going there and they had a number of iphones in stock. Now, I understand that it was not the first store's job to call around to a business they are not affiliated with and ask if they have the same product, but a little transparency would have been nice. I understand that they don't want to lose business but the fact that I found all of this out from other people lead to me to canceling my order with that store and I can't imagine myself ever doing business with them, if I can help it. Between the upselling, the tone and attitude of the workers, and the lack of transparency, this store and it's affiliates will no longer have my business. On a positive note, they cancelled my order promptly so I was able to upgrade elsewhere. A heads up to other Verizon customers, there is a difference in the stores and the only corporate store is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat products, amazing customer service, and clean store. - This was my weak review from 2 years ago! Though I completely agree with what I said 2 years ago the service myself and my family received today 02/20/2021 I feel like I need to spend a little more time and make this review worth reading. That being said... ... ... I've always been impressed by the wealth of up to date knowledge that can be found in what seems to be every sales person that works at this location...but today Lindsey O. (I hope I spelled that correctly) set the bar even higher and completely solidified the reason why I keep coming back to this location. The time that she invested into not only myself but to my teenage daughter and wife was nothing short of incredible. She was able to answer all of our questions from how do you do this to why is it doing that which made us more comfortable with the devices that we had already purchased months and years ago (iPhone and 2 Samsung). After all of our mostly user issues were solved we ended up purchasing 2 chargers, upgrading 1 phone, and purchasing a new Samsung watch. I couldn't of been happier from start to finish with today's transactions at this store and I will be coming back when our other 2 phones reach upgrade status. Big shout out to Lindsey O. again for taking her time with me and my family I can't recall a time that I've ever received the level of customer service that we received today. For those still reading this and are wondering...yes, the store was as clean as it was 2 years ago and the latest and greatest products are waiting for you on their shelves! And to Be Mobile in Minot ND, you've got 3 life long customers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe email āI sent to AT&T ā sorry for ending our 20+ years together, I truly loved your coverage and from Comnet Cellular to Cellular One the loyalty remained, but Friday your Instore customer service failed I walked out wondering 1)what just happened 2)I hope we still have service 3)I wonder if a Direct tv tech is going to show up to put in a service I didnāt want but your sales team was 100% positive I needed. I tried again on Saturday giving you the benefit of the doubt- I just wanted more data, no direct tv, no tablet, no iPhone X but again you failed and tonight my family moved our service over to Verizonā ā**To you Verizon āso I did something I never thought I would do i walked into Verizon with my AT&T statement and was greeted by Melanie Conant she was professional didnāt tell me what I needed but listened than explained the different options. I asked her for her contact information, she had me download her personal bemobile app told me to call or email with any questions. It took my husband and I a week to make the decision, I mean after 20 years we felt like we were leaving a family but sometimes you just gotta leave and we did. I emailed Melanie asking when would be a good time to come in and tonight we walked out with what we hope is a great plan for our familyās 3 lines and new phones and we were there until after store closing. We told Melanie we could come back to finish up Sunday and she said āI have nothing but time unless you guys need to be someplace elseā which we didnāt. Thanks Melanie for great customer service. Welcome to our family Verizon.. Allison Beuchler -Minot...
