I walked in alone the other day and was looking forward to purchasing a chair. When I did walk in, I was greeted with more or less distain. I got little to no acknowledgement of my existence, which mind you is that not what I'm complaining about. What I'm complaining about is that I made mention that wanted to purchase a specific chair, however I didn't know if it was going to fit in my car. The woman working there mentioned they hold stuff for a week, great but I don't know anyone with a truck. So I went out to bring the seats down in my car and make room. When I walked back in she asked if it worked and I told her I could get a portion of the back seat down but I believe I got made enough room. She and her coworkers processed to stand there and do absolutely nothing. I received no help what-so-ever. People you want something from this place bring someone with you because it's pretty dang clear you won't receive any help from anyone in store. Great prices, absolutely...
Read moreSomeone at front desk told me that it is “not for profit” . I don’t think it is . Though they have very deceiving name and slogan “Used Furniture & Appliance Resale Raising money to fund child abuse prevention” they should be transparent on how much $$$ goes into that cause. Lots of crappy stuff . I bought few furnitures like chairs , tables and sofa, mattresses for my kid thinking that it is 100% not for profit . Half of them were crappy Now I have to throw away my mattress , chair and sofa since they started smell bad after couple of weeks and no way to return it after 10 days . IMO , it is another organization who profit off of students population… Watch out what you get ! Also owner shouldn’t advertise as not for profit organization. Also they have to explain the terms and conditions like “ No money back if you can’t pick up paid...
Read morePrices are way over inflated. You can find better stuff on marketplace or craigslist. I have two washers to donate both with minor repairs and asked if they could give me a discount if I bought a washer from them. No, we can’t do that. So they’ll be making $400 to $500 off of the washers I donate when they resell them and they can’t give me a discount on a washer that I’m buying from them. That’s ridiculous. Also, I asked if they could waive the delivery fee if I bought a washer from them if I’m donating two washers. They could pick up my two washers (they said they would pick up for free) and deliver my washer if I bought one from them. Nope, they can’t do waive the fee. Say what??? This place is just out to make money. They say it’s for nonprofit, but I would love to see their accounting books to see how much goes...
