FLYING DOLLY’S — Attraction in Mobile

Flying Dolly's has a lot of potential, but still some kinks to work out. I ordered 4 items and this is my feedback on each: Double Scoop of Chocolate and Strawberry. Perfectly delicious! Great portion. Reasonably priced. And, best of all, Homemade - all of their ice cream is! Double Scoop of Coconut and Peanut Butter Cup. The Coconut is delectable, especially with the added coconut pieces! The Peanut Butter Cup may be tasty, but I couldn't tell because the portion was literally that of two sample size spoons. Not sure what happened with the preparation of that cup, but consistent proportions is obviously an area they need to work on. Strawberry Milkshake. Also delightful! However, I ordered no whip cream. They put whip cream. They then told me they would remake it. They scraped the whip cream off them handed it back to me as if it were remade. I don't mind so much that they removed the whip cream, they just shouldn't have lied about it AND tried to present it back to me as if it were remade. Furthermore, they didn't put a lid on the cup. They just had it completely open. Finally, the Hummingbird Stuffed Snoball. Refreshing and enjoyable treat! Only they overcharged me for it. Why they decided to charge me more than the price is beyond me. That was my first experience on their first day! Their service wasn't fast, but it was friendly! Would I go back? I probably will, after they've had time to work on the issues listed above. But the primary note is the product is solid; hopefully, they can bring the service up to...

I went to the new location on dauphin st in mobile, Al and was waiting my turn to turn into the drive through when a man came out fussing because it was another line another way and the other cars started blocking the street in which my car was in the right a way and not blocking anyone. The man came out and said “you see that other line down there, you can’t cut anyone off because it will be some pissed people bitching at us and my people won’t serve you.” Meanwhile I wasn’t in the wrong and had not even turned into the line yet because I knew the other cars were there first. I ended up leaving after the man said that to me and feel discouraged to even stop there again.

Reply to the manager: It’s a 2 way road and maybe if y’all had signs people would know to go to the other side and wait in line. & I was in the same spot when YOU came out and fussed. I didn’t...

UPDATE: I really appreciate the response thank you for getting back with me, I do LOVE coming here and understand the wait times more now and see the effort you guys are putting in so thank you for that! Mostly upset I ordered the same thing twice but was charged different but it’s whatever we all make mistakes and the workers are always very nice and polite :)❤️ -First time I went the line was long and I only waited about 10 minutes, went again w/ a shorter line but it took 20 minutes, for some reason the prices were different when I went again and got the exact same thing (2 stuffed snowballs, 1 w/ sweet cream) just different flavors but on their menu everything is...
