Bojangles — Restaurant in Mobile

This Bojangles is a safe haven and a sanctuary for quality, courtesy and cleanliness. When I first arrived there was an instant connection between me and the cashier named Sonny as if we were long lost brothers. He spoke with enthusiasm and empathy. When I looked deep into his eyes I could see the desire to give give good service. Not because it was his job to do so, but because it was what he wanted to do. I would go on to assume that this cashier donates to charitys and drives and environmently responsible car. When asked for a recommendation he suggested not some overpriced special, but what he thought was best for me and my family. The food itself was superb and made with attention to detail. It really shows that the staff cares about the food they serve. What made this restaurant experience even more powerful was the cashier Sonny came over to our table and asked how my meal was. I was almost caught off guard. In all my years I had never had a fast food employee care about my experience after the transaction had been complete. And again I could see it in his eyes the desire for good service. I could almost feel a small part of him hoping for any imperfection just so he could rectify it and improve my visit further. The restaurant itself was spotless. As if it had just been finished being built and I was it's first customer. I can only imagine that the kitchen is held to the same or higher standard. This particular restaurant receives the trifecta. Good food, good service and a clean dinning area. I would return without hesitation if given the opportunity. I end this review by wishing Sonny well. I hope he moves on to bigger and better things. He talen, passion and enthusiasm feel wasted at such low level restaurant. I hope to see him achieve all of his dreams and desires in life.

Ok everyone my brother and I had just got off work and we wanted dinner. Both of us are from North Carolina and when we saw there was a Bojangles we bout died.lol. we were so happy that there was a piece of home right in front of us. So many memories came back. My brother and i decided we would try to sit down and eat but tge front doors were locked. My brother and i didnt know what time the lobby closed. As we started to leave the manager opens the door and asked if we were trying to sit down and eat or take out. We at that moment said we will do take out so we wouldnt be a chore. Anyways long story short. The entire crew and management there was absolutely amazing. This reaturant had probably some of the best workers ive ever seen. This family made my brother and i feel so much better after a 12 hour shift. They went above and beyond any expectation. This returant is unfortunately going under because they cant seem to draw people to the resturant for some reason. Please if you have never had cajun chicken and all the fixens from a bojangles please swing by. They have amazing food biscuts desserts and their sweet tea will make you wanna slap yo mama. This reaturant is a huge part of my memories and teenage years please dont let my memories die. I promise to anyone that wants to take the leap and walk through those front doors that you will not like seriously WILL NOT REGRET going there. It really is some of the best chicken and biscuts that i remember. Just saying that this reaturant is the only bojangles in alabama/mississippi that i have seen Which makes it even more rare. I placed an order shortly after 7 am and received food under 5 minutes later. My husband and I each ordered the Cajun Biscuit Combo with Bo Rounds. We each tried the Bo Rounds first, and it tasted room temp and stale. It had nearly zero flavor and it was firm and slightly rubbery. I tried another Bo Round thinking (hoping) that it was just one bad one. The second was just as tough and flavorless. My husband's experience was the same. I took a bite of my Cajun Chicken Biscuit, which tasted stale too. The meal's texture, temperature, and flavor were as though the items had been made first thing in the morning and had been under a heating lamp for the next two hours. My husband took our Bo Rounds to the counter and asked for some freshly made Bo Rounds. The staff immediately acted on our request. We finished our chicken biscuits because they were slightly more edible than the Bo Rounds. 10 minutes had passed since we had asked for fresh Bo Rounds and we still had not been notified that the fresh side was ready. Just before leaving, we asked the staff if the fresh Bo Rounds were ready. They were - apparently, the staff forgot about us because they were busy socializing.
