Davis Community Park — Attraction in Modesto

This is actually a very nice park. It's located right next to Davis High School. There is a church right across the street from this park. There are always alot of community happenings at this park such as soccer sign ups, picture days and practices ( for some teams). Softball also does this stuff here. Sometimes the high school kids do activities here. There are NOT alot of homeless people or weird people that hang around this park, that I have noticed. My daughter is too big for park playgrounds anymore. But, she loves to play catch with her dad. It's nice to see them enjoy an activity together. We've had a few little quick trip picnics with our daughter at this park and have gotten some pictures taken of her here when she use to play sports. It is a very spacious park. I was there at a celebration of life for a good close friend of mine and although the occasion was not one and is not one any of us want to happen or want to ever attend the atmosphere at the park was peacefully accommodating and was perfect for what we needed . There were other events going on around ours and despite the many different ethnic backgrounds there were no problems or incidents with any of the other groups that were there and the park was packed. In fact , a female attendee from a group next to ours came over and gave her regards to all of us for our loss and that was awesome of her to do that . I definitely recommend Davis Park for any...

As an entire experience, it was good; some parts were really bad, some were really good.

A group of (4) transients set up their bungalo in the middle of the covered picnic table area, so that area was not useable.

There were vehicles parked in such colorful ways, it was difficult to find parking in the roundabout.

The parking lot showed signs of use; used condoms, blunt wrap wrappers, pre-roll tubes, broken glass, used diapers, and the usual other common items.

The park area was nice and the way it is spread out is super convenient too. Horseshoe pit, Volleyball, A diamond, plenty of room to ride or walk.
