Chasing Nostalgia — Local services in Modesto

This is easily the best thrift store in Modesto. not only do they have those typical thrift store finds, but they are aimed towards pop culture. They have this cute hello kitty CD player playing all of the music in the store, and a corner of the shop that regularly changes to a different theme. Now if you love supporting small businesses this is the spot for you, not only are they themselves small, but they actually have several local artists selling their really well designed crafts in shop. Most recent thing I've bought here was a tasmanian devil backpack.

Great place with great products, activities and more! Everything you can think from your childhood pops up here from time to time! Great vintage game and vhs selection along with vintage consoles and vintage clothing! I've gotten a ton a vhs tapes from these guys and have never had an issue with them! Plus every time I come back there's more in there selection! They even have a tattoo artist and bands that come from time to time! And they hose a badass pop events with tons of local vendors! Great place to find vintage clothing and pop culture items. It's mainly focused on the 1990's and early 2000's. Chasting Nostalgia isn't really a thrift store, it's a consignment shop where 3rd parties have their own sections so the prices on certain items may vary depending on which part of the store you're in. Some things seem overpriced while others are bargains. We did find great deals on old-school video games though!
