McHenry Phone Repair — Attraction in Modesto

Hands down the worst experience ever! Terrible service, unprofessional, and NOT WORTH your time or MONEY. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else! Basically ripped off my wife & repaired her screen with maybe not the right screen or an old screen. Since they replaced my wife’s screen, she’s been having issues with her phone .. & after giving my wife a runaround and they told her that they were gonna fix it for her, & so my wife been trying to reach out they’ve been ignoring her calls, not answering her and their repair shop been closed on business hours what kind of business do dishonest business with customers? We also asked for a refund and they supposedly don’t do refunds and normally when you have a business, you are supposed to have a sign inside your business shop that there is no refund / final sale And for them, they have nothing posted in their phone repair shop!!!! Beware! Unprofessional Service, Irreparable Damage

I recently visited McHenry Phone Repair to have my iPad Pro battery replaced. Unfortunately, the technician attempted to replace the battery, which resulted in irreparable damage to my device.

Firstly, iPad batteries are not replaceable, a fact that the technician should know (but I guess they were desperate for business). This lack of knowledge led to my iPad breaking, leaving it inoperable.

To make matters more difficult, the technician was incredibly rude and unprofessional. When confronted about the damage, he refused to take any responsibility and dismissed my concerns.

Overall, my experience at McHenry Phone Repair was extremely disappointing. I would strongly advise against using their services, as they lack the expertise and professionalism needed for such delicate repairs.

Update: It has been a few months since the owner promised to fix their mistake. I have reached out several times to the owner about the screen I was promised and I get no response. Since they replaced the screen I have been having problems with the phone such as the screen going black and freezing. I do not recommend this shop.

I had my phone screen repaired here. They fixed the phone in 30 minutes. Thought everything was great until I realized the screen they put on was not the same as the previous. It has a black border around it, which causes loss of screen dimensions. The screen no longer goes edge to edge. I was not told this would be the result. I spoke with the owner, and he apologized as well as assured me the problem would be rectified. He has ordered a new screen and has promised to repair the phone with no extra cost.
