Nearly New Resale Shop — Attraction in Mokena

I collect antique uranium glass that can only be verified by shining a uv light on it. I was told i am not allowed to inspect pieces. And that is exactly how they permenantly lost a sale today and a regular customer. A poor attitude and a lack of customer autonomy is a bad look for what is essentially a small goodwill. Not one single resale shop in the local area had an issue with my using a tiny uv light to check the glow color of certain glass, and ive been to exactly 9 of them today in the tinley park, Orland, mokena, and new lennox area. 0 out of 5. Doesn't matter what day or time that I visit the younger staff members are ALWAYS rude or hiding in the back room leaving the floor unattended (opening for theft). God forbid you ask for help with something on the floor then the customer service gets even worse. The workers are extremely friendly, and if you bring a child they have a free toy basket where they can pick out one item. They always have adorable shoes, jewelry, clothes and home decor/glass ware.
