Let me start by saying that I have gone to simply slices for years. Especially the Crestwood location which seems to be exceptionally better than this location. I went tonight and it took 20 minutes from order to leaving the drive thru. No one was infront of me. Every time i go to Crestwoods location, im out in 5 minutes tops. They’re quick. This location…terrible. I have no idea what was taking so long but when I looked at the pizza slices they gave me, I had an idea. It looked like the teenager in charge of making the food was building up some type of science experiment. I get it, pizza is hard to make, especially when you’re gen z, but it looked like something my 3 year old would concoct out of playdoh. Barely any cheese on it, crust torn apart. It would have looked better if I grabbed a piece from the back dumpster, punched it a few times, added some bagged shredded cheese, and then put it in the microwave for 23 seconds.
It took 20 minutes to get the order, but only one of the slices were cooked through. It was a conundrum…the crust was burnt at the top but doughy at the bottom, the cheese wasn’t cooked. And on top of that…they weren’t wearing gloves when they’re handling the ingredients. It went into the garbage. Despicable. I would have went to get a refund but silly me, didn’t think to check the pizza before I got home. Didn’t think I’d have to.

Read moreI had driven 10 hours and was ready to sit in my hotel room with dinner and relax. As I was entering the hotel parking lot I glanced around at all of the food choices available and saw the Simply Slices sign. As soon as I was checked in I looked them up on the internet and pulled their menu up. I called and ordered a 12 inch pepperoni pizza. It was ready in 20 minutes in a gleaming clean restaurant with a modern vibe. The folks inside were very nice and the pizza was excellent. The tomato sauce was a bit sweet but I actually believe it would appeal to more folks that way. Sliced in squares, every bite was outstanding. I ate half, put the other half in the hotel fridge and then the following day I had the other half for lunch at a roadside park near Kansas City. It was just as good as the night before. I would recommend this pizza...
Read moreWorst slice of pizza I ever ate. And this is the first and last time I ever come here. Noticed the business for a few years, got a coupon in the mail, finally stopped in. I ordered two deluxe slices. They took an already cooked sausage slice, lifted up the cheese, and put raw onions, green peppers, and mushrooms on it and served me. How do I know? The vegetables were raw and cold and the cheese, sauce, and crust was cooked. Becsuse of that, the first bite I took, the cheese glided right off the slice. And because of the raw cold vegetables, the pizza tasted like crap. Had a really strong onion flavor. I almost gagged. I ended up picking all the vegetables off the slices. Terrible. How can a place serve...
