Mercado on Fifth — Attraction in Moline

Living and working in downtown Moline has been an incredible experience, and now even more, due to the recent event that has injected new life into the area. This event has truly transformed my downtown and I am thrilled to see the massive turnouts it attracts. The popularity of the event is such that I believe it would greatly benefit from expanding its space.

One of the highlights of the event is the abundance of delicious and authentic food options. Everywhere you turn, food vendors are offering a wide variety of mouthwatering dishes.

In addition to the food, the event also features numerous vendors for shoppers to explore. This offers a great opportunity to support local businesses and find unique products. Whether you're looking for handmade crafts, artwork, clothing, or other goods, the vendor section has you covered.

The ambiance of the event is further enhanced by live music performances. As you stroll through the event, you can enjoy the sounds of talented musicians filling the air with their melodies. I have to say, I had fun. I wish they could do street fairs in the cool of spring... Tried food from two vendors, both amazing. Saw some wrestling (its okay, I'll forgive myself later). Mostly I saw people with every skin tone, heard people with every accent, heard people speak lots of languages. There were large families and LGBTQ+...couples, there were young boys flirting with young girls, and young girls flirting with older boys. This yr was definitely one of the best for us to remember, the amount of support we got from the community was just unforgettable.
