ULM is a Joke. More like the biggest mistake I ever made. The staff and professors put more effort into being difficult, rude, and disrespectful, not to mention unprofessional than they do their actual jobs. I should not have had to tell my professor of one of my undergraduate Psychology classes three times that the reason that I was late with a paper was because I was out of town because my dad was having a very important surgrey. There is usually a lot of drama going on in the psychology department and not enough focus on what needs to be focused on. Your told to keep up with the readings in the text book but the stuff the professors are usually talking about have absolutely nothing to do with what is in the textbook.Their basically up there just rambling about stuff and it really doesn't sound like they know what they are talking about. The professors are really creepy and they stalk their students. ULM and some of the people I met when I was there is the reason I don’t put up with...
Read moreI would give zero stars if that was an option. ULM is the most incompetent, disorganized university I have ever encountered. Please do not waste your college experience here. You will only be disappointed and sad to say you were a warhawk. If you need proof, just call any department and ask a simple question. You will get transferred or directed to several different departments and no one will ever answer your question. If you decide to go here anyway, you better save every single receipt and important document. They'll charge you multiple times for things and lose your paperwork every single semester. They may even drop all your classes for no reason and then not let you back in them because you didn't print out your course enrollment so you can't prove you were enrolled in them. This university is the most dysfunctional place ever. Most of the workers have no clue what their job description is, besides transferring your call to...
Read moreI applied to ULM's Ed.D. program for Spring 2025 and met all deadlines, submitting my materials on December 16th for the December 20th deadline. Despite multiple calls where I was assured my application was decision-ready for Term 1, I was later told my application wasn’t reviewed until January 8th—after Term 1 closed—and was now being considered for Term 2. Prior to applying, I had read numerous 1-star reviews about how disorganized and incompetent the admissions office is, and unfortunately, my experience confirmed this. Graduate applicants deserve transparency, timely decisions, and professionalism to prepare for their studies—not delays and mismanagement. Very...
