I’ll echo what several reviewers have said. The park has see better days. Their restroom facilities are no longer operational, and so they’ve resorted to portables. Ugh. The small playground skews towards younger kids. Obvious that the park is not maintained other than landscaping.
There are usually some questionable people around (hobos, smokers, etc.). I have found lighters in the play area.
There are positives. Large green area. Train and car watching. Ample parking. Accessible by metro. Bike racks. Plenty of picnic tables. Boulders for kids to sit and climb. Stage for events and parties.
There’s much potential here. If only the negatives were resolved...
