Troys Donuts & Burgers — Restaurant in Monrovia

I frequent Troy's in the morning occasionally for breakfast burrito just when I crave Donuts this morning I was walking out of the donut shop and as I got to the door my bag accidentally ripped and my Donuts fell out onto the floor two chocolate bars it but I'd also got a burrito in a coffee so I just figured that it was my conscience telling me don't eat those donuts you don't need them you're too fat so I threw them away and no sooner did I turn around and the girl behind the counter already had two bars bagged up for me and you don't find that nowadays that is what is quality customer service looking out for their patrons kudos to you...

The building looks very old, but the food tastes great! We were taken in by the odd combination of donuts & hamburgers, and it was a great choice. We tried the fried shrimp and chicken teriyaki, plus a couple donuts for after. Everything was freshly made, and the staff was super friendly. They also have a good variety of burgers and sandwiches, coffee drinks, and the things you expect to find at a donut shop. Although we don't go through Monrovia much, I'd go back the next time we do. No public restroom, limited veggie and probably no vegan options, but fun for anyone. Talk to the owner/operator guy--he's a nice guy...I just forgot to...

Was driving through El Monte to pick up some BBQ and decided to stop at this Mom & Pop spot for lunch — glad we did! I had the cheeseburger combo 🍔 and my wife went with the teriyaki bowl with white rice 🍚. Both were delicious, fresh, and hit the spot.

The place has that classic, homey vibe you only get from a family-run restaurant. If you're in the area, definitely stop by and show them some love. Great food and even better to support a...
