First & foremost the establishment is beautiful. They offer you tea and coffee which is something you don’t typically get at a nail salon which was a plus for me. I scheduled a SNS appointment Nataline (sorry if I spell it wrong ) did my nails. She asked if I wanted my nails “thin or thick” and I said thick. My nails came out nice. Now fast forward, it’s Day 4 and my middle finger cracked on the side. I wanted to get it repaired but realized that a few will have to be paid due to their policy. I was annoyed with that because it had literally only been 4 days. So I just cancelled and left my nail the way it was. I was supper excited to call “Polished” my new home. My nails don’t looked as if they have SNS. It looks like a gel mani.
Ahnijaaa, Thank you for your beautiful words about our salon and our services. Please give us a call to better understand you giving us such a poor review and better understand your expectations. Please know that our nail repair policy is typical of nail salons. We hope to hear from you soon but better yet, to see you sooner. Stay Polished!!
REPLY - to above Yes, I’m aware of nail policies at different establishments. The reason I brought up said policy was because it had only been 4 days since getting my nails serviced. Why are my nails cracking and breaking after getting SNS in 4 days ? Isn’t SNS supposedly “strongest”? My frustration stems from getting SNS and it not having being able to last long after leaving the salon. That’s my issue. I expected my nails not to not crack nor break on day 4. Nail tech asked if I wanted thin or thick. I said thick. The SNS layer on top of my natural nail look like a gel mani. When asked if I had gel by other people and having saying no, it’sSNS - They’re as confused as I am because it literally looks like their a layer of gel paint on my nails. Again, this business is beautiful inside and out. Give it a chance and get your own experience. I just wanted to share mine. Stay...
Read moreVery nice and clean salon. I liked that they offer their customers something to drink. As for the work, I had Monica. She did a great job. Not rough and very efficient. My only complaint is that the electrical tool she used for my cuticles came too close to my skin so had a few cuts. Nothing too bad but could definitely feel it when washing my hands and using sanitizer. Next time I'll just say something. Other than that, I'll definitely try this spot again. Would like to try their gel manicure.
12/7/2021 EDIT: I've dropped this review to 2 stars. After going here for about 4 or 5 times now I've decided this place is mediocre at best. Just speaking from my experience the gel manicure isn't worth it at all as it chipped the 2nd day as if I gotten a classic manicure. It was my first time getting it and I tried my hardest to "be careful" since it was for my vacation. Didn't even make it to the day I left for my trip. I was sooo disappointed and couldn't do the repair within 3 days since I worked and left 3am on the 3rd day (last window for repair) for my trip abroad. I told my friends and coworkers who always get gel at their favorite spots and they all believed that the gel was either old or wasn't applied correctly. I went back a week after my trip (2 wks exactly from when I got the gel) to get the gel removed and a simple manicure for Thanksgiving. That chipped the 2nd day as well. Their service is friendly but I won't be going back. Not worth it if the gel is going to chip just like a classic manicure. But honestly it could've been the nail technician I had. I'm still really new at knowing who's...
Read moreI’m only giving two stars based on the aesthetics of the salon, but after trying two different nail techs I’ll probably never come back here again. Not a friendly establishment at all!!! Maybe because I don’t speak Spanish not sure. The first nail tech filed my toenails so raw and did a poor job at cutting my cuticles. She nicked me so bad, I couldn’t use hand sanitizer for a few days. I got a text requesting a review and I really wanted to like this establishment so I wanted to wait until my next visit to give a review… Well here I am wishing I just went to the typical Asian salon. At least they smile in your face and fake compliment you while talking about you. You know when someone is talking about you when they keep side eyeing you. The second lady I tried you could just tell she did not want to service me. She didn’t even direct me to come to the pedicure station, the receptionist had to tell me. She stood there standing there looking annoyed. As soon as she is done this pedicure, I’m leaving. I wanted a gel manicure but I’m good. I don’t want to feel tensed when I should feel relaxed. Just not warm at all!! To be clear the first tech was sweet but seemed inexperienced and I wanted to try someone new. I’m assuming the new lady is her friend and she was annoyed she had to service me. Never again! Also if someone has a callus wouldn’t you offer a callus remover?! Both times neither asked the first time I didn’t even know they offered it, the second time I just wanted to see if she would offer it but why would she based off how weak she’s...
