Pebble Beach Resorts — Hotel in Monterey

I have previously stayed and played at the Pebble Beach Resort and a couple other area courses. It was a rare golf experience and reserved for those who have the means to pay dearly for this kind of thing. My company was looking for a exciting golf destination that would reward participants and give us the ability to raise money for a charity so we could Pay-It-Forward for a great cause. The event was set for this Fall, but due to the unfortunate world COVID-19 pandemic we all face, it ruined these well laid plans. People are fighting for their lives, staying away from each other and businesses are going bankrupt or may not survive this natural disaster. Would you believe after respectfully giving Pebble Beach full notice to cancel our event as those participants have naturally refused to travel. People would have to travel over the border from all across Canada and take several flights to get there. The deep pocketed Pebble Beach organization are holding on to our deposit - tens of thousands of $$$ dollars even though they have provided no service at this point! With no end in sight for this pandemic, that many say will be affecting us for the next 2 years, how could they be so heartless, ignorant and greedy? Great location for drinks, food, and fun! They have several different restaurants and bars, fun activities, and specialty stores. They also have a spa, conference rooms, and super nice hotel rooms.

Stillwater and the Bench have amazing views of the ocean and the 18th Hole green.

Plenty of parking, including several EV chargers.

Free shuttle service all day long to the other areas of Pebble Beach, including all the golf courses and restaurants.

Don't forget the market on-site for your basic grocery and food needs.

I’ve been to this resort roughly 15 times and it has reached a new low for the price. The courses are stacked with 5.5 hour rounds, the staff is genuinely rude, the caddies are terrible, the rooms & food are equal to a Marriott and the overall presumptuous attitude of the employees is annoying. I’ve played Cypress Point, Monterey Peninsula CC & Augusta National. Dear Pebble, you are a resort, money pumping machine, don’t try to pretend you are more than this.
