After a lunch at The Tap Room last Thursday, I can truly say that after all the stress and chaos of the past year or more, my daughter, two friends and I, had the perfect restaurant experience. The food, drinks, service and the feeling of comfort, and ease was a tonic for our souls. The staff is one of the nicest I have met in a while and our waiter Marcus was just wonderful and a credit to the restaurant. I would like to put in a compliment for the bartender too. She knows how to make a very good drink. The manager of this restaurant, knows the secret of running a good restaurant and that is very evident. Needless to say, this restaurant is also in a very beautiful part of California and for tourists and locals alike, that is another feather in it's cap. I also feel the menu prices are very fair and I relished every bite of my Ruben sandwich. The Tap Room is going to be mentioned with warm praise to all my family and friends. Kudos to all that work there, and enables it to be a restaurant that I will never forget going to, and hope to go to again, in the not too...
Read moreI read some of the reviews people post here complaining about prices. Take a Hint....maybe they know what they can get for what they offer. The place is packed, and they certainly don't need your bargain hunting butt in a valuable seat. Take yourselves to Denny's in Seaside for that attitude. Now let's talk about the food..... my buddy and I eat here a couple times a year. I try something new each time. My buddy gets the Filet prepped "black & blue" style. It's awesome. All the staff is great and provide fun conversation to make it a homey feel. Bartenders are at the top level of talent. Waiters know their profession well too. Highly recommended. Also I like the temporary set up just as much as the location that is currently being remodeled. It was pretty busy last night, so its a good idea to get reservations. You can bring your own bottle of wine too. We do it...
Read moreDrinks are strong and worth the price (could be a little cheaper, but not complaining). Was surprised to find out smoking wasn't allowed but cigars were sold. A decent selection of cigars, wish there were more but not dissatisfied. Stumbled upon this place after leaving dinner at Dametra's looking for a place to have a smoke and cocktail in the Carmel area. This was the only place open selling cigars after 9pm. To my surprised learned that this was the fame Pebble Beach Golf Resort. WTH?! Wasn't even looking for it but glad I found it.
My onlu complaint is that there are 3 restaurant/bars/lounges in the the resort, however. Front desk staff seemed confused on which sold and allowed cigars and wasn't familiar with the Terrace Lounge. Not sure if it is closed, but I was transferred to the Tap Room which is where I ended up visiting. All in all a...
