Synergy Health Advisors — Attraction in Montvale

I am not pleased to write this review today. Dr. Dinani is a fairly competent physician and her service was adequate when her practice started. Over the past few years, I have experienced a series of problems with Synergy Health Advisors though and overall I am extremely disappointed with the entire team. There have been numerous times when messages have been ignored entirely and prescription refills have been skipped. Ten days ago I spoke with her staff about a refill and they reviewed everything in the system and said it would be sent to the pharmacy. Nothing was ever done about it and I was never notified that there would be any problem receiving the script. When I called today, I was told that it would not be sent and I need to see the doctor first. Again, I would never have even known of any problem without calling. Numerous other times there have been billing problems. On some occasions, the office charged me cash for things which my insurance should be paying for. I also had to pay for my father's appointments in cash even though he is on medicare. It is my belief that this organization either does not know how to bill correctly or willingly takes cash beyond the usual copay while also charging the insurance company the full amount. I am not an expert in this field, but I do not believe that this is the way it should be done. This doctor seems to be willing to leave patients in a difficult situation regardless of how inconvenient it is. In this case, I am in fact out of my medication and I am being told I must come in again for monitoring even though I was in the office only three months ago and this frequency of monitoring was never required in the past. I can only conclude that I am being inconvenienced and denied my medication because this organization is attempting to collect more from my insurance, more copays and more extra cash payments. Quite obviously, I will be looking for a new doctor and I would recommend that anyone else...

My wife and I needed a PCR test for an international flight. We looked all over but everywhere was telling us 5 days or longer to get results and we needed a test within 72 hrs of departure. Luckily my wife found Synergy so we booked an appointment 2 weeks out. We showed up at 11am at their Montvale office and the friendly nurse did our tests quickly and painlessly. We pre-registered online and paid over the phone so we were in and out in minutes. No passport or flight itinerary was required but just make sure the name you register with matches your passport.

We got a call the next evening telling us they had emailed the results to us in a PDF file, so just one day for results. Our destination required a doctor's signature on the results and Synergy made sure there was a signature. There was also a time stamp on the results.

We were very pleased with our entire experience at Synergy. You could tell on the phone that they wanted to provide a good experience and make sure our needs were met. Their facility in Montvale is right off the parkway so it's easy to find and get to. The facility was also very clean and both employees we interacted with were super friendly and helpful.

Great experience from start to finish. Dr. Dinani was incredible. She asked all the right questions ensuring I had a complete pre-op exam. She advanced me on how to ensure I am at my best. She really took her time and was friendly as well as professional.
