It’s a long one but I’m SO happy! 🥰

A week ago I spoke to the shop over the phone with my concerns and questions on toddler piercings. The phone call was definitely reassuring and helped me get over my nerves. I forgot a question about the jewelry and messaged them over IG. They got back to me relatively quick and answered my question! The conversations helped me make my final decision on taking my girls here for their first ear piercings. Also the piercers being APP Certified (association of professional piercers) definitely helped as well. It gives a piece of mind for parents that these people actually know what they’re doing and you trust them easier.

Today my family and I took my two daughters (4 & almost 3) for the first ear piercings! I waited to have them ask me for earrings so that they’d understand what’s happening to their bodies (ears) and initially give mom the OK to finally pierce! Came in to our appointment time and were greeted nicely and warmly. We filled out forms for both my kids along with a photo of my drivers license (very important for parents to bring!) Kayla took us (mom, grandma and youngest child) back to the piercing room. We separated my girls to go one at a time to have them focus and just in case, not syke the other one out. Which was brilliant! She put on a show she would enjoy during the piercing process. I personally thought it was so sweet to have some comfortability for a little who doesn’t know what’s going to happen and not get nerves up in a new place. She explained the process to her and the first piercings complete! She cried during the second one but after she was totally fine! Went out, swapped places and my oldest came in. She handled it so well and no crying, she loved the process and was so excited she finally got her earrings! Took some photos and grandpa covered our bill for their birthdays. We purchased the saline spray for cleaning and we discussed cleaning how-to’s with Kayla.

Overall, the experience was amazing! From start to finish. We all had the best time. Shop was friendly, clean and welcoming! I felt so comfortable and I will 1000% recommend everyone here.

initially thought i had a great experience but i was wrong :(

i got my navel piercing around 7 months ago and had absolutely no issues with irritation or anything during the healing process. i got my piercing done at another shop and also had my navel bar downsized. i went into inkhouse to get a new piece of jewelry where i was told they only had longer bar sizes. i was assured that this was fine and that it wasn’t likely that i’d have problems with snagging or irritation. i got the longer bar size and loved it at first but ive been having many problems.

for one, my piercing has been getting very irritated and has been hurting which again, was never an issue throughout my healing process. on top of this, i also just got a blood blister!! it is profusely bleeding regardless of the fact that i’ve been cleaning my piercing.

i understand these kinds of things happen with piercings, but i paid 15 dollars for the jewelry change service and of course for the jewelry itself. i found it a little ridiculous that i had to pay for a jewelry change service, as no other piercing shop ive been to has charged me for that. i called to see if i could come back in to get a smaller bar size or switch the jewelry again and they let me know it’d be an additional 15 dollars for the service fee again!! honestly really disappointed :(. having to pay again because their jewelry didnt work for me honestly feels like a cash grab. keep in mind they charge an additional fee for paying with card at checkout. i thought id found my new go to place in the moval area but wont...

Absolutely love this shop. I've been a regular for years, Hustle and (now Kirby as well) are my go-tos for almost any kind of tattoo I'm looking for. I've gotten all kinds of styles from Hustle and every time he knocks it out of the park, from tribal to black and grey to galaxy watercolor. I've even brought friends and family members here for tattoos and no matter who's available any one of the artists here can and will do absolutely beautiful jobs on whatever idea you come in with. I highly recommend this shop to anyone I know looking for new ink or to cover up old ink. Highly skilled artists and piercers in a beautiful, comfortable, sparkling clean shop.

Vie is such an artist as a piercer as well, I've had well over a dozen piercings done by her and if it's possible to describe a piercer as light-handed she absolutely fits the bill. She's very good at what she does and I make all my appointments with her. Between Hustle, Kirby, and Vie I think Ink House must have about 30 consent forms and copies of my driver's license by now, and they'll end up with plenty more in the...
