Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium — Attraction in Morgantown

Overlook my bias as a native West Virginian here. First off there is NO BETTER college football venue than Mountaineer Field. The pepperoni n cheese rolls are just the best 4 million calories you can have in your diet.(Lol) All jokes aside there is no better tradition in college football than locking arms with the person beside you(even if it's a complete stranger) and swaying side to side singing "Country Roads" after a win by the Mountaineers. So if you're bored with the same ol', same ol'. Then come join us at Mountaineer field for the best band in ALL of college football/sports in general and watch truly spectacular formations made by the band while marching and playing music. Also the toughest mascot in all of sports resides in Morgantown, WV. That person is known as "The Mountaineer"! Also after the game there is most likely a couch burning ceremony that will take place so be sure to find and take place in that party because I promise it's not going to...

I have told my friends way too many times that I can sit at home, watch the game on TV and spill drinks on myself for free. I should have remembered this for the Oklahoma State football game.

First, it was televised, and the seats I had were partially obstructed by the ESPN TV camera that kept rolling back and forth in front of the crowd.

Secondly, there were people who had various types of alcohol concealed in their coats, and way too many obviously drunk people in the stands. About 30 seconds before half-time, I had to leave after a drunk student triped, fell, and spilled a whole beer all over me. So much for a Saturday at the game in a not so family oriented place.

Next time, I will stay home and watch the game and not spill anything on me.

We didn't win, but the weather was great for November and the experience was great anyway! The facility is well kept and easy to get around in. The food is good too (letting alone the tailgating culture, which is alive and well). We met friendly people all over the place and I'm planning on going back with the idea of meeting my new friends and enjoying the game and the experience (with hopefully a better result this time)!
