I recently purchased a new BMW 4 Series convertible. I can honestly say that it was the single best car purchase experience I have ever had in my life. I’m 56 years old, so do the math on how many cars I’ve owned. When done right, car ‘shopping’ can be fun, but as we all know, not always. Car ‘buying’ is always much more challenging. And sometimes downright awful. Hard to find the model you want, rude or inattentive salespeople. And when I know more about the car than they do – which is way too often, can be super frustrating. And then the time it takes to actually complete the transaction can be perplexing, lengthy and otherwise maddening. I share all this because my experience at BMW of Morristown (an Open Road dealership) was the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of all that. It was just terrific! My salesmen (Brian Derosiers) and the sales manager (Mohammad Soheb) were incredibly friendly, helpful, and understanding of my situation and HIGHLY engaged. In terms of turnaround time, my circumstances were odd to say the least. As a snap decision (literally the day before), I decided to buy my wife a convertible. She’ll be 60 next year and I just beat cancer. So, it’s been a rough year on her and my family, but now that I’m cancer free, we’ll begin our next journey with this beautiful new car. That said, my lease to my current BMW was up in 2 days and I couldn’t locate a convertible with the exact features I wanted. I was crestfallen. Now the best part: I know this might not happen every time, but it was incredible how fast Mohammad and Brian located the exact car I wanted, white with red interior and 20-inch two-tone rims. And they found the car in one day. The car was at another dealer, and they located, retrieved, and prepped the car in 36 hours. It gets better. It only took about 90 minutes to complete the paperwork, shift my insurance. It could have probably been even quicker, but I’m kind of chatty. Then Brian walked me through the car and I was on my way. But after he and Mohammad heard my story about my wife and my health, they handed me an enormous red bow for the hood of the car for my surprise, early birthday gift for my wife. When my kids and I surprised my wife in the driveway (I had originally told her that the dealership gave me the car as a loaner), she was brought to tears – the good kind. I cannot say enough about Brian and Mohammad and the BMW of Morristown dealership.

This goes to the service department and service department. Sales department is great I had no issues when I purchased my car in 2022. The service department is a disaster. Last time I came for an oil change and they mixed my car up with someone else’s…causing me to wait 1 hour without talking to an advisor and almost having services done I did not approve. Still ended up waiting 4 hours for an oil change that time. This time was a disaster. Scheduled my appt 3 weeks in advance requesting a loaner as I dropped my vehicle off for diagnostic anticipating to pay for repairs. The phone call to setup the appt took 20 minutes and was very unprofessional. Came in and told there were no loaners after taking a day off from work and driving 50 minutes to get here. My service advisor Dennis (who is excellent) tried to get things straightened but in the end I never got a loaner. I asked the receptionist and she said she would look into it for a loaner…then never heard back from anyone. Was told the diagnosis would take 2 hours when I waited well over 4. This was extremely unprofessional and I will likely not take my business back here. Counted 21 different loaners during my time here which I doubt were all booked. The manager was consulted by the service advisor and she even refused to come say something to me. Edit: she told my service advisor that I would have had a loaner if I approved services…when she said there was no loaners available initially?!?! So you need to have major 2k+ services in order to get a loaner. Have never had this experience at any other dealership. To top it off my car porter couldn’t even bring the car inside the service bay which I have to drive through anyways and made me come out in the ran to retrieve my car. This is the type service you get for choosing Open Road BMW of Morristown

Go in for one issue, leave with another! TLDR: Rude staff, long waits, terrible communication and service in an overpriced package. Avoid if you can. Recently, I had to use BMW of Morristown for a fender bender on my X5. It seemingly started off okay dropping off the vehicle but thats where the good news ends. Their collision center is not in house so they sent my vehicle out for repairs locally. This understandably took some time. The process of getting updates was miserable. From being unable to connect with my mechanic to the general displeasure of talking to the women at the front desk - this was beyond frustrating. Then after all was said and done, I get my vehicle back, only to have a cracked fluid reservoir issue that was undocumented and out of coverage. It inked up my garage so i took it back to them immediately hoping they would honor their work and fix it but… No. They played hardball, saying it would cost almost $2k to fix, eventually walking the number down $500. All this for a $150 part and 2 hours of time. I spoke with the manager and he was reluctant and arrogant about the whole matter which made me walk out the door. They wont be getting any more of my business. Not too mention when i was signing off and getting the keys back, I spoke with a woman at the counter who had an even worse experience where her car was in for repair and she didnt even make it down the road before the repair light popped up again. Just sad.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Debbie an exceptional car salesperson who made my experience of purchasing a slightly used (2024) vehicle truly outstanding. My journey began when I first saw the car online and submitted my contact information to express my interest. (My first time ever doing this, needless to say I was a little nervous) Soon after I received an email from Debbie, she provided her phone number and requested that I give her a call. After our initial conversation, she went the extra mile by sending me a detailed video of the car inside and out. This thoughtful gesture gave me a comprehensive look at the vehicle and helped me feel more confident about going to the dealership to see it.

The moment I arrived at the dealership, two hours prior to our scheduled appointment, her warm and welcoming personality put me at ease. She was not only polished and competent but also incredibly knowledgeable about the vehicle, answering all my questions with clarity. Her expertise helped me feel assured and optimistic.

One of the standout moments was when she went above and beyond to locate the second key for the car. See Initially, I was told only one key was available, which was a minor disappointment. However, about three weeks later, Debbie surprised me with the news that she had located the second key. This level of dedication and follow-through was truly impressive and showed how deeply she valued ensuring my satisfaction.

Her genuine concern for me as a customer really set her apart from so many other car sales people that I've encountered. After the purchase, she even took the time to call and check on how I was doing with the car. This thoughtful gesture demonstrated her commitment to building a lasting relationship, rather than just making a sale.

Overall, her combination of expertise, kindness, and dedication made the entire car-buying process a delight. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a stress-free and enjoyable car-buying experience. She is a true asset to the dealership and a shining example of what excellent customer service looks like.

Thank you so much Debbie! I'm very happy with...

If you are in search for a seamless, no-pressure, kind, caring, and truly professional car-buying experience, Mr. Andrew Beifus is your guy. From the moment I called the dealership, Mr. Beifus, warm and respectful personality, spoke loudly over the phone.

The funny thing is I had called Mercedes Benz, two seconds before I had called BMW. There, I was connected to a salesman who also had the same name as Andrew. I had a five-minute chat with him and felt unwelcome and rejected. His tone was filled with hastiness, judgment and assumptions, so, I hung up and called BMW of Morristown.

At BMW of Morristown, I received the best Andrew you could ever find in the State of New Jersey. Mr. Beifus, went above and beyond to make sure I felt heard, informed, and confident in my decision. He provided exceptional service from the first telephone call to the moment I walked into the dealership, to the few days after I purchased my vehicle.

Mr. Beifus, is not just knowledgeable about every BMW model, he is passionate about matching you with the right car for your needs, lifestyle, and budget. He took the time to answer all of my questions (and there were many), offered honest insights without the usual sales tactics, and made sure every detail was handled with care and precision.

What really stood out was his transparency, responsiveness, and genuine desire to help. Whether it was arranging the perfect test drive, explaining features in depth, or making the paperwork process quick and painless, including making you laugh out loud, Mr. Beifus delivered "Severn-Star" service every step of the way.

Thanks to him, I am now driving the Sweetest Ultimate Driving Machine (as he would put it) I absolutely love. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Andrew Beifus to anyone, whether you are a first-time buyer or a long-time BMW enthusiast. He truly sets the bar for what a car buying...
