Magnusson Art Group — Attraction in Morris Township

The person who was sent from Magnusson to help evaluate and dispose of our furniture and all other valuable items was little help to us with our antique furniture after we were told that they would either auction it or put it online. However she was interested in our silver and silverware and best china. She bought the best pieces, but promised over and over again that she would come back for everything else and give us a comprehensive price. Before Covid19 she came back to retrieve the china dinner service but she said she was in a hurry and would come back for everything later. This way she cut our chances to get anybody else who had worked successfully for our friends because we had not chosen them first and had sold the best silver and china to somebody else.

A month before our move I called her to remind her of her promise and asked what to do with the remaining pieces of furniture including an English farmhouse settle of the nineteenth century. I was only able to speak with her assistant and to add insult to injury they only offered us to pay $300 for a truck to take away the two pieces of furniture with nothing in return and not even the courtesy to let us know what they would do with it For the rest they said they were not interested. If they did not want to work with us they should have been honest to tell us from the beginning that they only dealt with huge estate sales and not left us on a limb. Most...

Our experience with Magnusson was five star! Moving is an extremely stressful process and they provided tremendous piece of mind during a very hectic time. From the first meeting with Lauren Magnusson to the final item being sold, they executed their every move with professionalism and efficiency. Lauren and her team don't skip a beat and provide such a level of control and comfort that you literally sit back and let them handle everything for the sale. I walked into our home following the sale and took a huge sigh of relief. My house was practically emptied and what wasn't sold they work with a wholesaler who purchased the remaining items. Their office staff (Lori!) is equally as wonderful. We had a follow up meeting within days to go over the receipts and was provided a check. The best experience I ever had with an estate sales group .I just found out about Magnusson Estate Sale and I am pleased and satisfied 100% Amazing at everything starting with the polite hard working staff, the professionalism , the organizing of the event and the quick response via message .I later received a phone call about my request about other upcoming sales .Very personal genuine phone call .All just perfect. The stuff was beautiful unique and the prices were reasonable. Can’t wait for the next sale.
